You got me baffled at first. When I hear "TT" images of Nortons, Velocettes and Matchlesses come up immediately. Images of road so narrow that even the Vincents seemed rather big.

One of the other benefits of the raised transmission is that it puts the transmission shaft more or less in-line with the engine sprocket and rear wheel sprocket. With the transmission in its stock location, under extreme use the height difference between the engine sprocket essentially tries to rip the transmission up. Awesome bikes !

Hi fro UK. Great to see these bikes. They are a bit different to TT bikes on this side of the pond. But then I think TT (Tourist Trophy) racing over here is something quite different. Thanks for all your videos. That is a wonderful museum you have. If I ever get over to the USA, I'll come and visit.

I had a 48 panhead, a 53 panhead and a 57 panhead. Loved them all, especially the 57 with it's straight leg frame but I always thought the knuckle was the nicest looking engine and could never get my hands on one. I also had a flat head 80 and some shovels. To me Harley engines lost some of their looks when they came out with the evo and squared the cylinders. But maybe I'm just old and being nostalgic
