A pinch of salt
1 pack of vanilla sugar (8 g, 2 teaspoons)
170 g flour (1 1/5 cups)
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons warm water
Baking pan: 18 x 28 cm (7 x 10.5 inches)
170 °C (338 °F) top and bottom heat for 25 - 30 minutes
Cherry pudding:
Collect the juice from a jar of sour cherries.
250 ml cherry brandy (1 cup)
20 g corn starch (2 heaped tablespoons)
50 g sugar (1/4 cup)
Cherry or strawberry jam
Cream:
300 g cream cheese (1 1/5 cups)
250 ml whipped cream (1 cup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add the cooled cherry pudding.
Set aside 3 - 4 tablespoons of the cream for decoration at the end.
Chill for 30 minutes.
Glaze:
3 sheets of gelatine (5 g)
350 g cherries (about 2 cups)
250 ml red juice (remaining cherry brandy + e.g. red berry juice)
Season with sugar to taste.
Chill for 3 hours.
Decorate with the cream and breadcrumbs that you set aside.

70 g sugar (1/3 cup)
Separate 1 egg
1 yolk
Save the egg whites for later.
200 g flour (1 2/5 cups)
1 teaspoon baking powder
Sour cherries (about 400 g) (about 2 cups)
1 pack of vanilla sugar (8 g, 2 teaspoons)
Baking pan: 18 x 28 cm (7 x 10.5 inches) (greased and floured)
250 g quark (or cream cheese) 1 cup
250 g sour cream (sour cream about 18 % fat) 1 cup
2 eggs
The egg white from the dough.
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
50 g corn starch (2/5 cup)
1 tablespoon corn starch
Baking time: 170 °C (338 °F) top and bottom heat for about 1 hour. After baking, let the cake rest in the open oven for another 15 minutes.

180 °C (356 °F) top and bottom heat for 12 - 15 minutes
50 ml cream (1/5 cup)
4 tablespoons of cherry brandy (from the glass)
For the cream:
8 sheets of gelatine (13 g)
The remaining cherries (200 g) 1 cup
50 g sugar (1/4 cup)
250 g yogurt (1 cup)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
150 g crème fraîche (2/5 cup)
250 ml whipped cream (1 cup)
2 packets of vanilla sugar (16 g = 1 tablespoon)
Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Then chill for 3 hours.
