Another option is to play it with the fiendsmith card that add a fiend then discard a card, add a fabled monster that ss itself when discarded and now you have a lv 1 fiend light on field to link sum requiem

Yes, it's used as a part of the "fiend pile deck" which is just a combo of Fiendsmith, Unchained, Yubel and other good fiend stuff. But I guess you can also play it in normal Unchained.

ah yes Fiendsmith. The new 1 card engine that takes up around 15 deck slots and creates a 1 card combo that is at least 14-20 special summons. But Maxx C is still the real problem though.
