Ive made cheese twists but without the pesto, theyre very tasty. The only difference in method is I dont cut the pastry into 2, I just cover half of the sheet with cheese then fold over and press down. It leaves a nice loop at the bottom of the twist. They also work very well with chocolate but I made the mistake of using whole chocolate chips which made life a bit more difficult. I wish I had either used a bar of cooking chocolate and grated it or run the chips through a coffee grinder for a few seconds to make them easier to work with.

@@zeberto1986 that’s a good method as well! In that case you don’t have to cut it. And yes, it works great in sweet recipes as well. I made them in the past with Nutella. Delicious 👏🏻👏🏻
