i would like to add, that indonesia's reason to make nusantara is not population centers, as people can and are encourage to migrate to less populated regions. the central location allows for future centralization and more grip and control over our eastern regions that are usually neglected. other than that the name nusantara refers to the austronesian word for archepelego. austronesian people are cousins of melanesians and their peoples are malaysia-philipines and indonesia.maphilindo. infact philipinos and malaysians have a sort of nusantaran idealism to unify like the germania unification. so the nusantara capital is very fitting especially when malaysia philipines and indonesia Wants to UNIFY as Nusantara. with such a unification nusantara would have 100+60-70+270-280M population or 430-450M population. able to compete much more strongly angaist foreign powers. although today, that idea has been put on hold by the three indonesia,philipines and malaysia.

lastly i'll dislike you althoug it was mostly simple calculation fun, if you're ever going to mention to asians israel, make sure to mention palestine too even though it might not be that relevant, for south east asian and those further east asia israel is far more foreign than some split state in the middle east, palestine. if you're wondering why there's like 10 dislike and not 1 is because you mention israel without palestine. israel RARELY if ever makes diplomatic shows in central asia,south asia, south east asia, even less in east asia. while many middle eastern nations publicized palestine which means in asian eyes, israel is more foreign in general.infact some or many think israel is located in europe due to how european they act and how they are part of european football league

Capitals don't just need population centers though. You also need to take into consideration geography, ethnic, security and wealth distributions. Like in India's case, I thinkeven better would be a capital in the Jharkhand area. Would bring security to a conflict prone area, close to the north east and south which often feel that they are neglected in favour of the north. Quite close to the geographic center of the country too. Would bring wealth into the area as well.

As an Indian, I would like to say my two cents for a moment. Whatever you said makes sense and true. India's capital under British Raj "Delhi" was important, as it connected other major cities and metropolitan intersections back in the day like Karachi, Madras, Bombay, Calcutta, and Cuttack. As time went on, however, India was now independent from the British. The now capital, "New Delhi," definitely feels less strategic. And don't get me started with the never-ending pollution issues. And, the number of people living in the city is ridiculously large in numbers. So, Nagpur might seem like a better option, considering that strategically, it's better, and it avoids unfriendly neighbors like Pakistan and China. And, it is still intersected with other cities. However, Nagpur has its own problems. Like the situation in New Delhi, Nagpur will have the same population rise, and pollution will increase more, as Nagpur is having an E-Waste and Plastic Pollution Crisis. And, considering the fact that Maharashtra, the state where Nagpur is located, being eyed less, may be an issue for its development. Again, Nagpur is a good option. But problems will still rise, just like New Delhi. Unless if the people will treat New Delhi like Dubai and Nagpur as Abu Dhabi, there's no way our government will accept this change. I could say Jhansi can work, but it has its internal issues, so unfortunately, we are stuck on a weird situation. Great video though, keep it up! :D

@albertromansky9501 I would like to point out Myanmar's capital, being well-selected, considering I visited Nay Pyi Daw twice during my 4 year-stay before the coup. The Myanma Government definitely picked a good area for strategic and intersect capital. It's just that Nay Pyi Daw is so empty that it being a capital feels a bit useless. Mandalay wouldn't have been a bad pick as a capital. Still, they measured it better than us.

Multan is very unsustainable for capital because then you would have make additional governmental bodies as well whilst not disrupting the already inhabiting surrounding local population because multan itself is a very small city, you would also have to consent with the local people of multan and surrounding areas as well beyond multan to move away which they would not. This also happened when creating Islamabad as new residents tried to populate the area and it impacted the surrounding areas like Taxila, and especially rawalpindi which is also sometimes known as the military headquarters. You didnt put this factor into mind while making new capital cities about the already existing population or about how capital complexes would be created for the government of the country.

Well all pan indian empires almost always chose delhi mathura agra triangle as capital. There is reason . Most of india s border are secure. North has Himalayas. West south east has sea. North east has dense jungles and himalayan mountains and steep gorges. Only unsecured border is in northwest. Delhi is far away from north west border current and ancient both for invaders to capture easily. But it is close enough to mobilize armies to repel invaders. It is at entry point of most fertile part of indo gangetic plains to control them and benefit economically from them
@albertromansky950116 күн бұрын
Yeah, for Indo Gangetic plain Delhi has perfect location. But today's India isn't only Indo Gangetic plain
@autoaura015 күн бұрын
Actually the complete opposite of what you said. Major empires like Mauryan empire(largest) and Gupta empire (golden age) had capital at [PATALIPUTRA] in BIHAR/MAGADH. Most Empires were of Magadhi origin. Magadhi is literally an east Indian language spoken in Bihar and jharkhand in present day. For almost 1600 years PATALIPUTRA dominated Indian history by all means religions like buddhism and jainism as well as art and mathematics etc. There is no mention of delhi pre islamic India other than indraprasta which is not impressive at all. Delhi was the capital of turkic/mongolic invaders like Mughals and delhi sultanate. Is that what you mean by "PAN INDIAN EMPIRE" ??
@autoaura015 күн бұрын
Greek diplomat Meghesthenes lived in PATALIPUTRA 2000 years ago and mentioned it as one if the best cities in the world same for chinese travellers like hyeng zhang and fa xian. If you dont know history you should not say stupid things. North India

Nagpur would be good untill marathis start kicking out outsiders for not speaking marathi. In my opinion capital should be in somwhwhere in MP as it is in centre of india.
@SahilChaudhary-j1q27 күн бұрын
MP 😂 man if you think marathis are discriminatory wait until you see caste based conflict in MP, it leaves UP/Bihar/Rajasthan far behind.
@mik190126 күн бұрын
@@SahilChaudhary-j1q Still its better than maharashtra and south india as both have separatist mindset. And caste issue is all over India. Also hindi is the main language in MP which makes it less of an ethnic identity. Anyone from anywhere in India can come to MP and noone will notice as its not a single culture or identity.
