SNSD's comeback was one of the best things that happened in 2022. Fans were eagerly waiting and also their performance on Music Bank had a lot of positive reactions. The song being *Nostalgic* was absolutely good since they came back from a 5 year long hiatus, the song gave us the early memories of them to remember once again. Yet To Come was also a song that hits *Nostalgia* on the face. The MV was a roller coaster of memories.

As far as Pink Venom goes, I remember similar reactions from netizens to How You Like That. I still listen to HYLT all the time, it's such a banger. Both songs are hype anthems for the pre-release of their albums to get everyone excited. Lovesick Girls from 'The Album' definitely lived up to international girl group quality as well as their promoted b-side Pretty Savage, so I'm expecting the same with this album. P.S. "This that pink venom" has been stuck in my head since it came out ^.^ I'm happy to see them performing live in front of audiences again. Did you guys see the VMA performance? Love it!

In my perspective , Pink Venom is just okay. The music is good but the point is reused so many times. There was nothing new in the lyrics, styles or song structure. I expected a lot more from them because they has been in a really long hiatus and there're many things in their life to talk / write / put in a song. Moreover, the lyrics were a little bit meaningless overall which makes me think that this comeback is nothing but beautiful (the stylists did good tho). Anyways, I'm looking forward to the full album and hope that it'll be (much) better.

i don’t think “Girls” was flop. It’s amazing and addictive song for me but “Savage” was just too good comeback.. this whole album get people to have really big expectations for their next album bcuz it was incredible song that get a lot of people in the fandom. But honestly i think it was some strategy made by SM. Again, SNSD's comeback isn't for the casual listeners. Sones cried so much watching the MV. it's not just a typical comeback for a show. SNSD's comeback is a celebration. For a casual listener they may not appreciate it but we sones do so much and that's all that matters since that's tye point of the comeback. Plus, if you listen to the whole album, there are way more catchy songs like Villain which I believe a lot of new fans would like but still SNSD chose the title track which has a deep connection to fans because again, this is for SONES. Casual luisteners are welcome to listen but we don't expect you to like them at all. For 5 years, we waited, but SNSD waited for it too. This comeback is more than enough knowing that SNSD did their best to set their different schedules given that they are from 4 different companies now. So, SNSD is not for a competition or awards. They have been there, they have done that. Legends forever.

pink venom is not a flop. okay it may be bad for some people but the charts and achievements don't lie. i wish the mv was better put together, way too many things were going on and even tho i enjoy the song a lot now i get a headache when i try to watch the mv, because it's so fast. apart from that i'm so glad rapper jennie is back, and i really hope their title track somehow resembles lovesick girls, which was more experimental and had the girls show more of their vocal capabilities, especially the bridge part in which they all sing together. and yes, there are constant rookie monsters coming out rn but blackpink's name is already well rooted in the industry, even a mid song from them would beat a 4th generation ''good song'', it is how it is.

You can be popular all you want if a song don't strike with you, after one or two listens people will move on. There are a bunch of examples for that. Whether you can digest the fact or not, People actually do listen to their songs, the charts are the true testament of that. So just because the song isn't your style, to say it would be flop if other group did it or saying it lacks quality is utterly disrespectful because there also a whole bunch of people who actually like it and enjoyed it. BTW the idea of good/quality song is very subjective. What you may find interesting, may not be appealing to someone else. If you want to hear different sounds from them, listen to their b-sides. And Ofcourse the pre release singles or title tracks are always meant to make noise and help them stand out to gather all the attention for what is to come. And they did just that.

Like every group has their perticular style (especially for girl groups) when in 2020 blackpink released ice cream people hated them for everything from outfit to concept.... snsd's comeback wasn't really even about trying to break records or topping charts. it was about keeping a promise to us SONEs to comeback as ot8 even with all 8 members despite them all being super busy with acting, dj-ing, radio hosting, concerts and tours, musicals etc. hence that was why it took them 5 years to arrange and sort out everyone's schedules. they even had to practice the choreo all on their own times separate from each other since their schedules didn't match but still put in all the effort to make that promise come true. their efforts should be applauded and it shouldn't be all about whether it was a "bop" or a "flop" because this song has a way deeper meaning than that. it's a gift to us SONEs and all it matters is that WE SONEs LOVE IT. i'm still streaming the song daily and tear up every-time. not to mention that this comeback was also a full album and not just some single song to just throw to the fandom and even when on tons of variety shows and promotions. also the fact that SNSD is capable to still make a cb together after being 15 years in the industry with no other kpop girl group being able to do that already speaks volume. they're LEGENDS.

All of them are 100% bops because, first off, the definition of a comeback is a returning Kpop group, (just for this instance) with more entertainment that should be more exciting and the group can't wait to have the fans see it. The whole purpose was just for the sake of a long hatius, they are definitely more than anxious to put out their promotions. If I were you, I would just stay on the positive side of Netizens. I listened to Girls so many times here's the thing: I hated it when I first heard it but it takes some getting use to. The song doesn't have a easy to follow structure so casual fans prob just gave it one watch/listen and just gave up on it. The chrorus for Girls would be PERFECT for the soundtrack of a girl power type movie. Like put it in the training montage of girls sports movie and it'd be #1 in the streaming charts. Unfortunately it may never get that chance but the chrous is amazing when you really visualize it.

I personally think kpop is in this weird phase where they want to bring something new and catchy to the table but it’s been executed awkwardly because maybe they don’t have someone in charge who naturally follows that type of aesthetics. For example the new trend is late 90s early 2000s styles but it looks overwhelming and like something’s missing? I feel like NewJeans was able to bring something new because the CEO is known for aesthetics & vintage looks so she’s knowledgeable in the field. SNSD's comeback was such an important comeback and I think its amazing. Piink Venom is ok. I like the pre-chorus and bridge, But I really love Girls. Honestly I don't think anything is a flop, basically a bop means its a really good song for that person. Haters just call songs they don't like or groups they don't like flops, when on the other side, the real fans or others that actually like it call it a bop. For example, I don't stan IVE, but I really like After Like, and Love Dive too, and even have Eleven as well.

i can’t speak for the other 2 but people who think Forever 1 was a flop, seriously had high expectations. i know SNSD went on a hiatus for 5 years straight but during that time, fans would beg for them to release literally anything just so they can be seen on stage as ot8 again. all we know is that they could’ve given us a single but instead they choose to pour their hearts out in putting together a full album. yes u heard me right, FULL FREAKING ALBUM with 10 tracks in total. this isn’t something fans thought they could pull off considering each member has their own schedules & mind u 3 of them are no longer in SM. the fact that they spend 2 years??!? planning for this comeback should mean something on it’s own. Well, I'm a Blackpink fan but I'm not really a big fan of pink venom. The funny thing is that my coworkers who do not listen to kpop couldn't stop playing the song inside the office. They heard it the first time after someone showed them a video of QPARK dancing to it. I think most kpop fans think its a bad song since it sounds so much like BP's previous title tracks.
