We were the tenant in a similar situation, people left things all weird or straight up in a disrespectful manner (all the lights on, muddy foot prints, etc, etc). We had a home inspector who was messing with the P trap under the kitchen sink, buddy dumps a bunch of trap water, then used my wife's good hair towels to clean up. He left the towels soaking in the water, bunched up and soaking... Let me tell you, if you want to make enemies with a women, mess with her good hair towels. Our kindness ran out, and we were viewed as the villains.

How scary is it that people can not afford a month or 2 of an empty unit. you really should not own rental property if you can not carry it a few months.

There is no law that says tenants have to leave during showings. Tenants should always allow showings but should stay and safe guard their belongings and orderly home.

Not sure why he’s saying condo apartments sales are pretty steady when new condo sales have dropped 87% the lowest since 1995. As per news it would take 50 months to sale all the new and resale condos available in the GTHA right now and it is getting worse. Where does the 5 months he talks about come from?

dont buyer agent have insurance for situations like that if damage occurred during a showing

Normally, I would expect sales to trend up and then down. A flat or steady line is not usually the case.
