What I love about your channel is that you are just yourself and don’t have any airs or graces. You have a lovely down to earth attitude that the ordinary golfer can relate to. Thank you for your common sense in relation to golf products. Here in the US ( I’m a Brit expat) I belong to a group of old guys who play every Tuesday. It’s a Christian fellowship group and we have a lot of fun, most not taking the game too serious. Thanks for being so sensible with golf products that are in a lot of cases at ridiculous prices 😊🏌️🏌️

I rebuilt my bag last fall. The Kirkland wedges are the only clubs I bought new. Simon would be proud. I bought G 700 irons for $400. He was dead on, the pw is 44°. You make such a good point about keeping clubs in the bag if they work no matter how old they are. I’ve just been through a fairway wood search only to come back to my 20 year old Callaway Warbird 3+ wood. Nothing goes straighter or longer so in the bag it goes! @sausagembape6773 жыл бұрын
If you're going to Decathlon you need to try the clothes, especially the Polo's, the balls are brilliant but the premium ones have jumped in price. Shoes look good as well. Costco balls are very soft, don't wear well and spin like crazy. They have bought out a new one in America which I presume will come out soon
@Soul-Taker3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I don't think they're (Kirkland balls) particularly good value if they don't wear well. If you're a rubbish golfer and your local course has a lot of water hazards or bushes then the Kirkland balls might make sense. I'm rubbish but I don't tend to lose many balls at my local course so using decent quality balls is not silly.

Yes, the Kirkland version 2.0 is much better. Longer, less spin, more durable. The version 2.0 is a great golf ball in my estimation.

Simon, I've been playing these wedges, balls & gloves all summer long. (TXG review convinced me) Replaced grips immediately, the shafts are a little soft, they would be OUTRAGOUES with a shaft upgrade. I've never chipped in so many, never. Luv the sound, feel...PRICE!!! $159.99 + grips $178.99...how much are the Vokey, Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade etc.? $200.00 + per I've never been a good wedge player until now...equipment and technique make the real difference. Never satisfied am I, after the Hogan TK-15 wedge set, 52, 56, 60 heads only: $55.00 + S&H (12.95) It's all your fault SAS, you've created a monster on this side of the pond. I'm collecting Hogan equipment and loving every minute of the quest; much thanks mate!!! Rumors in USA: Kirkland wedges are Callaway, balls are Titleist. Titleists rep told me directly the other day during my club fitting. ALL THE BEST!!! /G

The brand Kirkland is simply other high end branded stuff relabeled, doing some research for example, the Kirkland batteries are relabeled Duracell batteries, the diapers and wet wipes are made by Kimberley Clark who make Huggies, the bottled water is made by the Niagara falls water company, the Kirkland hearing aids are relabeled sonic hearing aids. Although there is no company openly admitting to making these wedges other than the southern California design company who also manufacture Callaway wedges, the balls are made by Korean company Nassau who make TaylorMade golf balls.
