Excellent to get a look at the kit, both before and after you changed cymbals and swapped snares. Funny thing is, I would have kept the snares the way they were, and cranked the deep main snare extra high and tight, and the 6in auxiliary on the left would be tuned low and fat 🤣

I use Remo Emperors on Toms mainly.

Without the glass, the cymbals would bleed into the mics, regardless of dynamics.

Well I hear ya but that’s always true. The shield is too make sure everything sounds isolated and clear in the room and for the internet stream. Doesn’t matter how loud you play honestly.
