Commenting on and liking this video might actually make you live longer. There's no science behind that one, but we might as well try! Thank you so much for watching! Are there any other common items you want me to investigate for Life Extension properties?

0:53 caveat: please don’t forget to floss. Making sure you’re not getting bacteria and rot in your gums is hella important: it’s why those who don’t brush are more likely to die from heart disease or heart attacks. The rot in your gums can get into your bloodstream REALLY easily, hence why cavities and gum disease is really dangerous if left untreated. So please, be careful, and keep visiting your dentist and floss (not just with picks, the actual floss, so you can get a 360 clean under the gum line).

Idk, I’m gonna have to put the first one in suspicion. Diseases like cardiovascular disease seems hard to really pinpoint the cause of. I can’t believe that brushing your teeth can lower your chances. This just sounds like a correlation vs causation moment. Like how someone who has a mansion is most likely to live longer not because they have a mansion but because it shows they have enough money to go to hospitals and buy healthier foods
@blackarmsox2 жыл бұрын
This can really be seen with pets. Having tooth issues is one of the biggest contributors to a lowered life span because of how much the plague leads to heart disease
@WarriorTilTheEnd2 жыл бұрын
Glad to see someone else thinks this is correlation too. Like, I think it *could* be connected but this is likely correlation because the kind of people who brush three times a day are also probably people who take their health seriously and are more active. What brushing your teeth DOES help with is preventing things like abcesses, infections, cavities, and plaque, which is great if you want to have teeth. Unlike the cardiovascular link, we actually have solid proof of this one. Idk, my biggest takeaway is just "brush anyway because it is good for you."

About thr brush and heart thing, maybe those people who brush more are more caring about their bodies, hence they try to stay fit and all. So, less rate of heart attack. And the opposite for people who brush less
