Due to the overwhelming split view in the comments about the official posting of the rules. I've been enlightened on how players are interpreting the ruling in two different ways. The first being my viewpoint in the video which is that they don't want us to build on mountains or in water at all and that auto detection was being made for securements in water. The other viewpoint being that the post was supposed to be in reference specifically to the water submerged securements and the mountain terrain features is specifically for meshing. Due to the more calm commenters explaining their viewpoint, I am attempting to contact official reps for Once Human to seek clarity and put an official end to the arguments about this. If my interpretation of the rules is incorrect, I will remove this video and make a new one to provide the correct info. And if my interpretation is correct, I will double down and provide the ruling from the official source. I want to see Once Human succeed and help better the community as I really enjoy the game. This scenario and this comments section has made it clear that we need better information to be provided from the devs and community managers especially when pvp is involved. Edit: Oct 26th, still no response beyond a senior mod telling me they've provided it in their mod channel a week or so ago. At this point I don't think this topic matters to them now that Way of Winter is out.

Our server on SEA is the opposite, mayflies outnumbers rossetta and the chinese mayflies are doing underwater purification , + the fishing exploits with alts while their main characters camps teleport towers with bases that has turrets surrounding the teleport towers near public events. Really unfun and unbalanced, as a pve player curious on what pvp entails, i will never touch pvp again with all of its brokeness.

I feel ya brother. It's been hard to say the least lol... I tend not to accuse without evidence, so I did alot of stalking and recon... definitely wasn't a fair fight. But we couldn't turn things around as the more we resisted the worst things got. I managed to secure 1 prism during the entire thing but I can hold my head high as I did it the right way. I still have no idea how they were doing what they were doing, as I'm clueless on how to cheat and exploit... but I can 100% say they were operating outside of the rules. They heavily encouraged PvE players to try it out. But I think because of that there should have been a way for PvE gatherers and crafters to directly affect the war built into the scenario. Supplies, explosives etc being given to the pvpers was helpful but would have been more interesting if the game had like faction buffs or something based on pver effort and contribution

In server 2(mayflies) NA we cant even go to the event spawn they be camping it 24/7 . They set up like 30 turrets They already out number 90% , we try to get to 6000 prism points yesterday. It took all day just to make 30 .

That's brutal, sorry to hear that. We were outnumbered similarly. From what I was told our server's Rosetta faction was where Asmongold came. So the imbalance was insane at first. We slowly used guerilla tactics and teamwork to overtake the score. This is largely in part of the other faction having no one to play against, getting bored, and quitting. Once they reached 6000 points they had even more quit. My only recommendation if they are camping with turrets at the teleport spawn. You have to go in as a group by car from the nearest TP. And take the enemy by surprise as they go to leave with the prism deviation. It sucks that the faction imbalance is a design flaw but there are ways to fight back against the numbers. However you'd have to get highly organized and have a pvp background.

Had the same situation on japan clash 003, it was a mountain top base and they were rosetta too. We managed to overpower them and got into their base with 2 members spamming rocket launchers the salty rosetta guys went to eternaland and sold the radiant one :(

We do now. They got bored from no one to fight while my team joined 48 hours into it and took a day to get max level. By then they were 3500 pts ahead and most lost interest. At 6k points even more stopped logging in. At this point they are so demoralized that they dont show up anymore except for radiant and rex

I actually like the concept of this scenario and had a lot of fun with it. It just feels like they didn't think it through, test it enough nor set out these additional rules in depth enough. If they fix the lag, most of the exploits will go with it. After that they just need clearly defined rules about these build locations as these players seem to have a different viewpoint on the word Mountain.

Tbh this isn't as much of an exploit as it is lazy dev work, it's the Devs who designed mountains without paths up. That's on them for making an area of the map so openly available to build on and block off.

If you read they went back on mountain bases are not exploiting. If nothing is clipped into rocks or underwater it is free play. Dont take the sand out of a sandbox game. You cant be mad at people for being strategic in a strategic game mode. You realize they have to goat hop just like you do to get up there. If you bring echo blast grenades and rocket launchers up there you would get in just fine. You do not need a truck to raid bases win by numbers and if you don't have the numbers that is not the others players fault that is the games fault for not being balanced. None of these people are going to get anything for you trying to get them banned. Just wasting your time and breath.

@@DovazX If you notice in the post they have in parentheses its only states about securements being in water will be removed at some point. They know just having a base on a mountain top is stretching for a bannable offence. You can't be mad and call it and exploit when anyone can build on a mountain. I mean you can consider a hill a mountain if you really want. I know I am stretching here but you can't call it exploiting. In war you picking a mountain top or a valley. This is why everyone on both sides do it. If it is not clipped under ground or under water then I do not see an issue. This is strategic and you cannot argue with that. I get that it is hard to attack but it is not impossible. We as Rosetta have taken the mountain top bases out yes we have numbers in my server to do so but it is not exploiting. You do not need a truck to destroy a base. And if you are out numbered you can't be calling them out for that maybe you should complain to Net Ease instead for not making the game mode unbalanced. I'm just saying man anyone that is trying to get people banned for building strategically in a strategic game mode is just petty and I see it as being a sore loser. No one should be mad or trying to get people banned for Net Ease's over sight do you want the whole map to be flat, would that make you happy? A lot of the top streamers that are in this game mode have bases on the mountains or in water and you know they are not going to get banned bc it is a sand box game and they will lose tons of players over that. There are tons of ways they could have made this better if they did it right but they weren't ready with way of winter and pushed this on all of us bc it took them very little effort to do it and they did very very little testing. And the play test they did have I can guarantee people did these same exact things but no one complained about it because the testing was done in china and they do not complain about these type of things because they see it as it is and it is strategic. I will state that them moving walls or whatever you were stating is messed up and driving the bike through doors is also messed up. These things yes I see wrong but once again you need to put this on Net Ease as the bike thing has been a day one issue that they have known about and they still have done nothing about it and there are millions of complaints about this I am sure. I will side on you will real exploits but building strategically is not exploiting. Echo blast shrap grenades and gold rocket/grenades for the launchers work wonders on bases and if you aren't prepared with those then I don't know what to say man. I will also state again do not take the sand out of a sand box game.

I can agree with most of what you've stated here. The biggest issue for me and the people I play with is how ambiguous their official statement was. I can understand how the opposition might read it and think they mean meshing or securement on the bottom of the water. However it's written as terrain such as mountains and water. As we were so outnumbered that even talking in global chat got us mass reported and chat banned. We were forced to not even consider these tactical advantage locations, as based on the info provided it would be an exploit and we'd be mass reported. If they said no meshing, no securement under water. And that's all. I'd have blown up every terminal on that mountain and placed our own down. And then say GG in the chat. Instead we spent 16 days straight (my group joined late) using tactics, strategy and experience to overcome the odds. Be chat banned anytime we talked, dealt with accusations of exploiting from people admitting they were exploiting. And again, from the way it was written, also using terrain advantage against us under threat of mass report if we were to use it. So unless an official dev team member states that this is 100% within their fairness guidelines and not exploiting and they clarify that everyone is allowed to do it. I have to stand by our viewpoint made in the video and hope that moving forward that the studio will be more clear in future PvP scenarios. Personally I think it should be ark/rust rules. No safe zone, build anywhere as long as it's not meshing. But also make it so you can place c4 when swimming.

So the feature to be able to fly even where there is no actual base location available and using it to just gather intel on other bases, was clearly not intended by the devs, making it a bug by definition. Nobody is cheating. You're in server X001, the server that Asmongold destroyed. Theres 2 players in the entire rosetta faction capturing deviants (Aim+Korzz). There are a total of 47 people on the leaderboard for the third phase. The faction numbers were 60:40 mayflies the first day, until asmongold joined on the second day and it went to 95:5 rosetta. Asmongolds zerg left when he did after the second day of the very first week (Meeting his contractual obligation to "advertise" himself playing). The entire scenario afterwards was 2 rosetta players. #1 and #2 on the leaderboard. 0:30 You were "heavily outnumbered" on day 2, when asmongold was in the server, on day 3-4 the server numbers went back to how they were, closer to 70:30 mayflies because of low morale thanks to asmongold's zerg destroying the ratio *My guess, as thats what faction chat kept saying on repeat*. To stroke your own ego for 20 minutes pretending that your "tactics and teamwork" helped you "come back" makes you sound like a larping troon. The entire 3 phases were literally against two people. The only rosetta players gaining ANY prism deviations other than Aim+Korzz were fishing players. When that was patched out in phase 3 your faction went from 6k(?) points against rosetta's 8k(?) to ending at rosetta still having 8k to mayflies having 11k. Those numbers by themselves prove that nobody other than Aim and Korzz were doing events (Further shown at 15:44). You then went on to complain about mountains giving an unfair advantage taking "10-15 minutes" to climb? Obviously, its untrue or extreme hyperbole that climbing any mountain in the map takes longer than 60 seconds, but if this were such a problem, mayflies wouldnt have been doing the exact same thing on other mountaintops? Near the start of the video, you claim that the base you stole from was 0:57 "30% was actually in the water". You then proceeded to show the entirety of the base being completely above the water line. The patch notes addressing underwater bases was exactly that; bases that have things under the water that are unreachable. Im guessing you brought this up to fluff up the video, increasing its length or looking for more things to complain about. Finally; the motorcycle exploit you brought up several times saying it wasnt real can be seen on youtube, which I can no longer find the video to, however this exploit is still in the game and can be easily done, any base with doors can be driven right through by using your motorcycle to drive into a closed door. This isnt conspiratorial, you can still do this as of today Oct 15 and takes zero skill to do. Players using motorcycles to drive through bases SHOULD actually be banned as this is definitely a game breaking exploit. The fact that your faction didnt take the lead and keep it at the end of week 1 should be applauded, instead you whined for 20 minutes about multiple things that are factually untrue.

I can agree with the constant reporting/exploit finger pointing being an issue in Once Human and I would rather just play the game. This is exhausting and I'm not happy with this video being part of that but I also have met a lot of players that don't have the ability or time to make something like this to express their desire for fair play. I made it to help give them a voice. However making this video and reading the comments has unveiled how divided the community is on the wording of the rules posted officially. So at the bare minimum I can use it to speak with the community managers about better clarity on the subject so we can all go back to trying to enjoy a game.

I'm not sure which base your talking about. If there is a true mountain base with ceiling/wall stacking on our faction I've said in chat I will go report it myself if it's pointed out. If your referring to my groups primary compound, it's on a hill not a mountain. It's got 4 paths that can easily be driven up to with a transport truck, and therefor all other forms of vehicle. Which then leads to 2 primary driveways that lead all the way to each building that we secure in. Meaning that with gatling trucks we are fully accessible. In fact the giant walls can be taken out quite quickly by aiming at the foundations. I'm not sure what the TP exploit your referring to is. The only thing I can think of is yesterday when we got a Rex Rosetta accused us of TPing it out of Dig to Hell. Except that Dig to Hell failed and no deviants spawned. Meanwhile on a different world, we had a 2 man at a Dark Side where the Rex spawned. Then Rosetta accused us of TPing it out of a failed event that doesn't spawn anything. They walked home with zero interference. As for your driving a jeep up this mountain comment. As I've stated in many other comments, it's about getting a gatling truck up for sieging. I'm also fairly confident a jeep would not get up there. Feel free to make a video showing yourself driving up that to the top with a pickup truck with a gatling on it without using any sort of shenanigans.

Also where in game does it say you cant build on mountains? there is no requirement to be part of their discord to play the game. so if rules are being posted there then that is on the game devs not the players. they need to implament a no build zone on mountain tops in game. cant ban someone for building on a hill/mountain when that person doesnt read "rules" posted in another spot out of game.

I'm in yukki's base right now in build mode. Theres no ceiling stacking. There is half walls and full walls with ceilings on them. Ceiling stacking is when you have like 8 ceilings all tied to each other. I honestly don't even know how its done and don't want to know. We found Kragal on Rosetta was the main person on the server doing it. And he was fully convinced its part of the building mechanics and refused to stop, maybe he's right but who knows. I'd love to see a video how to drive up that mountain with the current version of vehicles, after they nerfed the jeep to not be able to drive up a wall a while back I don't think its possible based on our attempts. And I definitely agree that rules shouldn't be posted in their discord and should be in game. This entire fiasco about mountain/water bases is due to their wording on that post being interpreted in two different ways. While also attaching a threat of 30 days ban minimum. It's very frustrating and I'm going to reach out to more community managers to get clarification. My comments section has made me realize that this is on the devs and community managers not being clear enough as we've all interpreted their bannable offense message in different ways.

I showed a 360 view of the entire place. Twice, both aerial and ground. The road has a landslide through it creating a mountain blockage. Which can be seen on the map and in the video. Feel free to make a video showing yourself driving up that to the top with a pickup truck with a gatling on it without using any sort of shenanigans. The fetch-a-lot tree is there for all game modes. It does not change the statement in the official discord by Marunaru about building on mountains being bannable in prismverse's clash.

Building on mountains is fine. It's those whose bases are INSIDE mountains or mountains that you can't normally climb up to that's problematic. The bases you showcased didn't look problematic at all. I doubt they'll get punished.

As written it seems to have two interpretations by the players, one is that it was specifically for people meshing. The other which is the point of view in my video. So you’re currently on an alt account, walking around freely without being shot by turrets, making a video and exploiting flight mode in the build menu. You can’t get flight mode without permissions, and there’s no way any of them would give you those permissions. This just shows that you’re exploiting, while they’re playing fairly. Is your alt account just to spy on the other faction? That takes the mystery out of it! If you can build freely by the bunny tree, then there’s no exploiting. Why would you even use an alt account? People like you make the game less fun and enjoyable for everyone.

You can hit b, then z, then flight mode ~ for moving territory in aerial view at anytime anywhere. Also it's not an alt account, you can have multiple characters on one account and on the same server. As your more interested in making up exploits instead of learning the basic user interface interactions your doubtful to believe anything but that character was at the start of the server for 2 days before my main could even join due to bad dev phase timing on day 1 pvp servers and only logged back into it for the footage after deciding to take the challenge of going mayfly as I arrived with my main. All of the screenshots provided of the Rosetta faction chat were from friends on that side that were sick of the amount of exploiting their allies were doing.

@@DovazX It feels really unfair what you’re doing. Your character hanging out with the opposing faction is frowned upon, and now you’re using that to make a video? That’s not right, and you know it. You can try to cover it all you want, but only you know the truth. These happy little PVE players just wanted a fair shot at the dino like everyone else. They built there because that’s their shiny bunny farm from hard mode. There was no clipping into floors; everything was breakable, and there were no double walls or stacking. PVE players often come up with better ideas than PVP ones! Fallen even sought help from Aims, the top player in our faction, who willingly came to give her advice because she knew she needed to network with pros to achieve her goal. Aims got that dino fair and square through his skills. He secured it at the base and communicated effectively to make it happen. In the end, he even gave the dino to Fallen and her hive so they could have a mascot and remember the memories! That’s what PVP should be like and why we should play it. Fallen and her friends were thrilled, even gifting shiny deviants to Aims and his crew, as they don't usually play PVE and hadn’t collected those yet. This is what a great community looks like: Aims and his crew teaching and helping players who don’t typically PVP to succeed, even gifting her a deviant that she would never have been able to get herself. That truly embodies the spirit of teamwork and support. But your faction’s world chat has ruined their experience, bullying and calling her out, trying to go on a reporting spree, creating a toxic environment for new players wanting a shot at PVP deviants before winter comes. The only thing you will succeed at is showing how toxic you really are and the environment your faction has created. But you don’t mention that in your video, and you never will. If the game doesn’t want you to build on the hill, it wouldn’t allow it. The terrain is buildable, and if you go up there and put a base down, you can see that you can build without needing wall glitching. That’s the game’s fault, not the players'. Next time, consider helping others fairly like Aims and his amazing team instead of trying to label them as “exploiters.” It’s about fostering a positive community, not tearing people down.

Just to give my two-cents, i came from a pve server with the same likeminded individuals who play on a casual note (whom you've also taken time to besmirch in your video). Our hive came together to play the game without the use of any exploits. All of my hive-mates (including I) are always finding new things to learn within the game. We came into this server with alot of hope and great intentions to build/collect and obtain what prismverse had to offer, while waiting for the new pve scenario. We had no luck in capturing prism deviants, because everyone was always on at different times, public events would get swarmed or camped, and most were just online learning the scenario. Having our friend reach out for support in capturing the dino, we were all ready to pitch in as much as we could, collecting all the materials needed to even build a decent base to secure. Half of our hive was underpowered, but we did the best we could with what we had. When it came down to actually obtaining the dino, my hive was scrambling because it was literally our first time doing something this BIG! We were excited and ready to defend our base for those 3 long hours. We weren't even expecting to have this kind of battle and yet we were enjoying the mayhem (lag issues aside). After finally securing the much sought after dino we were relieved to have it finally over. The hive supporting us did the unexpected and gifted us the dino after the grueling battle. And we celebrated! That is a treasured experience, in a video game that i will always remember. And then i see this video trying to tarnishing the unique experience that we all shared together, calling for us to get banned. What a nice reminder that there's always a yin to the yang.

@@jessv8646 thanks for reaching out and sharing your view. Since the video came out I've been provided a lot of takes from both sides of that servers war and I've pinned a comment explaining how each side has understood the rules posted in the official statement about mountain building. I've reached out to the community manager hoping to get an official stance on this. I hope you can understand the other side's viewpoint where as written we understood that we'd receive a 30 day ban for building up on mountains and when facing against something we were lead to avoid using it against us, like you've had happen here, soured all of our experience. I had a large number of our asking me to be the voice for this and made the video. Im hoping the officials respond to me soon because I want a resolution for the playerbase. After all the comments that calmly explained the opposition's side about how they read the rules. I'll be the first to recommend that even if the ruling is against building in mountains entirely, that you and others that weren't attempting to be malicious shouldnt be harshly punished. Because this whole situation is due to a lack of clarity by the official team. Once I have the response I'll take down this video that provides the context from both sides in the comments and make a new one providing their clarity and use this experience as a lesson going forward to hopefully help the community be better overall.

@@krystlenz3104 as much as I can agree with trying to help the community and not being toxic. I hope you realize that global chat from Rosetta faction was just as if not more toxic. Mass reporting to chat ban anyone they didn't like. Additionally, you've made the assumption that I'm the bad guy, the leader of a toxic faction, however I was unofficially assigned the leader role by my faction members. There are bad apples on both sides. I gave out more than half of the prisms that I acquired to PvE players to get them on the leaderboard for rewards. Drove them to their bases and defended them. Not just one hive, but all of them. I'd explain how the mechanics worked to each one, gave away materials, deviations, and taught them builds and counter builds. I even threw a fireworks show for some of your factions members that got reported in this video because they reached out and helped me understand that the devs official post being ambiguous is the real issue. which has lead me to reach out to the officials. In my pinned comment I have more info and the steps I will take after I receive a response.

I'm flattered you think I'll make you famous, I'm a tiny creator and I also doubt anyone but a dev reviewing the report would not skip past the part with names as it's pretty boring. Also I don't have two accounts. If you didn't know, you can have 10 characters per account. And the game allows as many as you want to be on the same server. That said the character was made day 1 to try out prismverse because the devs made it so day 1 pvp server players couldn't transfer to the new servers for over 2 days with their phase timing. When we saw how imbalanced it was towards Rosetta we chose our main characters to go mayfly for the challenge. I doubt you'll believe me but I only logged back onto that character for the footage and never played it after we brought our mains in. Sorry if I ruined your group photo, hope you got some good poses somehow in that lag
