I seriously want a time machine and relive the 90s and 2000s. That era definitely had character and color. The bright pastel colors were so inviting, but now the dull colors just make us all turn away. I wish that I was a billionaire so that I can own all those restaurants in this video to prevent them from becoming the boring places that they are today and help the nostalgia live on forever and ever!!!

It's funny that you say that. I actually got a recording of an old Pizza Hut. They've been saying they're going to remodel it, but they've been saying that for the last 3 years. I remember like them saying that because I was asking if I can record it And they said I couldn't do it, but it ended up taking so long.I didn't have to record it anyway Despite what they said, because if they're gonna remodel it anyway, I might as well record it.

I live close to a wendys with a black roof, and, there used to be a super old McDonald's down the road and to prove how old it is, it was a walk up old style with the rare/old lightning logo, and it's unfortunately torn down and is just land

I wonder if the big wigs of our favorite fast food restaurants we grew up with now just want us to become depressed with white, black, and 50 Shades of Gray. The only thing different when comparing a ugly modern restaurant and a prison is that you can eat, pay, and come & go as you please in the restaurant.

Wow, recently the Arby's in my old local in Rolling Meadows, IL closed down this year, most likely due to low profitability or leasing issues. Yes, the building looked old and most likely didn't plan to renew their lease.

That Burger King Kids Club sign gives me tons of early 2000s nostalgia when my local Burger King had an entire BK Kids Club playground despite the fact the Kids Club themselves were phased out of advertising. TBH, I hope Burger King notices Mcdonald's success with nostalgic collectibles and jumps in the game. Hey CrowRanaBurger, have you seen what Jack In The Box buildings looked like in the 60s and 70s [I'm a 2000s kid so I only know that through research]? They looked super colorful and cool and even had Jack himself on the signs and on the Drive Thru Menu. Modern JITB buildings are super bland. And speaking of Jack In The Box, did you know Paul Winchell, original voice of Tigger, did the voices for Jack and The Jack In The Box Bunch in 1970s animated Jack In The Box commercials as well as three comic tie ins? Three commercials and three comics are on KZbin and I can't recommend them enough, they are super charming. I'm hoping JITB also hops on the nostalgia train and makes modern Jack In The Box Bunch merch, maybe throwback bendable figures?

I grew up with a similar one on Pontiac Ave in Cranston, RI. The Building & PlayPlace were demolished in late 2020, and a bank took the old land! An existing bank 200ft from the old Burger King WAS turned into a Burger King! BK & Bank switched places for the worst, and it was the only real 90s style Burger King in Rhode Island!

The last time a McDonald's got remodelled was one that was formerly a Playplace back in 2020-21. I used to go to that location when I was little, but unfortunately, it got remodelled and they removed the Playplace in favor of a terrible looking building!!!

Lots of McDonald's Play Places were remodeled in late 2018/early 2019! Very few remain, and the new versions are mostly bland, ugly, and boring!

This exact same thing happened to the McDonald's in Mission Bend, TX. Only they didn't remodel, they DEMOLISHED the old 70s style McDonald's (with a huge playplace) to a boring, drab, dull shoebox design with no playplace and barely any seating on the inside!

Well something bad hapened. My local wendys recently relocated to be next to the strip mall witch I'm not complaining about as I always go to disc replay movies and games there but the building was a older dezighn. It also had the old wendys logo and even the express window sighn between the drive through windows (something you never see now) now I will never be able to go to a older stiled wendys again.
