As a street fighter lore guy akuma is a Soto and also as a secret character akuma's first appearance was in Street fighter alpha and then in Street fighter alpha 2 he became a selectable character

Akuma and Dark Sakura. I’d also put Morrigan Lilith mode in this list (Marvel vs Capcom secret character). If Dark Phoenix was a stand alone character and not just a power up for the original Phoenix (in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3), she’d be in this list too.
