So the common point in all these scams was a risk that your money will either be zero or close to it (it may rise too) but any investment that can take up your whole investment is too risky(although having a high return) and people looking for a safe and secure future must avoid these kind of things.

P2P is a big no. No platform can guarantee getting your principal back. No CIBIL score can guarantee anything. I lost almost 8 lakhs in various P2P platform. the worst is Rupeecircle backed by Mahindra group.

@Warikoo the explanation of MLM scam is wrong - the risk in this business arises from the fact that the company forces each "distributor" to purchase a min amount of products on a monthly basis and if that distributor isnt able to sell to end client, then they are in a recurring loss every month. The risk if a person within a "pyramid" leaves causing crash is incorrect - there are legitimate businesses and a thriving industry in US for MLM/Direct Selling. The MLM industry in India is like a scam and similarly several scamster companies exists in US as well, however, there are some legitimate MLM businesses as well.
