That smoke was so bad here in NJ. I went fishing like an idiot one night when the index was well over 200. Worst part was, 3 days after that, when the smoke finally cleared out and the air quality was almost normal again, we had two fires locally that burnt almost 2000 acres. My hometown is located directly between the two wildfires and that number quickly went back up near 200. But fishing that night ended up being a ridiculously stupid decision, thst left me with a horrible headache for 2 days. I couldn’t imagine fishing all day in a tournament. I only spent about an hour before I physically couldn’t take it anymore! Ps- wheeler didn’t actually charge you $20 for that? All his earnings and he can’t hook a brother up with a can?

Big thing with baitcasters for beginners is getting them set up right. Plenty of videos out there, but start with your brakes at the max and set your tension so your bait slowly falls. Back your brakes off as you get more comfortable.
