They are fun to catch. They are good to eat. The thick backstraps cut into one inch cubes dipped in egg and then cornmeal. Fry them in peanut oil. They taste better than catfish. Those were some of the biggest sheepshead I've ever seen.!!!

Don't disagree with the Bass vs. Sheephead comparison, but I'd put my money on Catfish in pound for pound fight. Now, if you change your channel to Sheep Head Fishing, I'm unsubscribing 😂😂

​@@bearbonesfishingKnowing your affinity for the St Clair River (a marvelous fishery), I'll mention that it's full of Cats, best bite at night. Something to put on your to do list. Found out kayak fishing 3-way rigs with a nice minnow. And yes, I did get 'towed' a couple times. Smooth sailing.
