@@stephenjacks8196 did you know 9km^2 is ~2,224 acres? That means this single fungus is 100 times larger than your cloned aspen. Which doesn't really count. It's many cloned organisms, not a single mega organism like this example fungus (there are more). Try not to be so easily proven wrong in comments. It will just end up hurting your feelings when you find out.

Q: Is it true that a fungi infection is killing (making not marketable) the whole production of 🍌?. ( that is making the Cavendish variety the only -massively cultivated/sold- type of banana we find at the market today anywhere in the world).

Panama disease, from types of fungi, has already essentially wiped out the original popular banana cultivar the Gros Michel, and is now starting to cause serious problems with Cavendish. While there are efforts to genetically modify both cultivars and even cross breed them to make them more resistant to Panama disease, all commercial banana varieties will always be susceptible to blights of some kind due to being clones, as we selected for more easily consumed specimens until they no longer had viable seeds.

When u learn any language, u need to listen as much as u can; everyday listening will make that language part of your life thus the learning process would be by far easier.
