Corona have procedural sky integrated with sun position and have options for clouds and animation, what's your problem just to make couple clicks? for proper time and sun position you have sun system in 3ds max. this is completely unless thing. And using hdri as background what a waste of RAM and time for rendering

on a serious note, do all the HDRIs go from mornign to dusk? im a bit confused as their website shows clear day/dusk/hazy etc. All different one so om not sure which one to get.,... out of your experimentation, which one do you seem to like the most or recommend?

Currently we sell packages from different times of the day (each consisting 20 HDRIs as a timelapse). When you check further information about a pack, in the product description you can see all the details (time of the day, sun height, etc). So if you would like to cover a whole day, then you could purchase different packages from different times of the day. Originally we had the idea to sell the full days we capture, but based on the feedback we've received, people enjoy the flexibility of picking the moods that they prefer to create their own perfect day.

Please, does this vemeer control work with Pulze? Is it possible to store different data for different HDRIs in Pulze? For example, cam1 uses the morning HDRI and cam2 uses the afternoon HDRI? Thank you

Here’s a developer’s answer on that question: “Timelapses would be possible, but as the interval times are in the minutes, you would have a pretty quick time changing timelapse if played back at 25fps. With the current beta, we do not support a Timelapse mode. We focused on ease of use and asset quality. If a lot of users enjoy our content, we will however implement everything they ask for (if possible)”

A bit pricey but, absolutely cool tool. One question ... Is there a "dome" mode for matching smaller objects to the HDRI "floor"? On another note, when I can't get my HDRI light level to match how my object is being lit in the scene, I will switch to the OSL environment map, there's controls on that to specifically to adjust this. It is slower than standard bitmap so I only use it when I need to, but it has some additional tools. :)
@stableworks3071
@stableworks3071 9 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your Questions. Currently we do not support a Dome mode. There are plans for Full 360 on location shots where this might come in handy though. We are just at the beginning of this and If people like the quality and concept, it could go anywhere. We have the tech to quickly produce a lot of scans. Actually one scan takes only around 10 seconds to shoot and processing is fully automated. regarding the OSL map - we have no particular data about this. I can test it though. Typically the Renderer's own bitmap's are the most efficient. In case of FStorm we use it. To avoid too many exceptions in the code, we do not for Corona atm. But like I said, this is only the beta :-)

So the position of the sun gizmo actually just loads the corresponding HDRI or? So are timelapses possible? Because I would imagine there will always be a noticable jump when it switches from one HDRI to the next one...? (Btw. Quite impressed with the FStorm performance, is the footage speeded up or realtime? Which GPU are you using?)

Footage was cut, nothing was speed up, but you can check in the top of IR rendertimes, all ArchExterior shots shown in the video are up to 1 minute roughly, some are 30sec. Card used is single RTX3090 And thank you for the kind words!

@@stableworks3071 Oh ok, as I saw on the website you also don't really capture an entire day or? Just always 20image/sequence? From the video I had the impression that you had the entire day/night cycle in there... Does it work with V-Ray as well?
@stableworks3071

@@JonasNoell Vermeer currently supports 3dsMax with Vray, Corona, Fstorm and Arnold. When it comes to shooting, we have full days covered as well, but based on the feedback in the Alpha testing phase people prefered to pick the different times of the days they liked the most and build up their own "perfect day" that way. If there is demand we can also make available longer periods of times/full days in the future.

Wait ! Do I get all the HDRis you showed as one pack or should I buy each separately ? in your video there are quite a few... This is misleading because each pack they sell is more or less 1-2 hours.
@stableworks3071
@stableworks3071 9 ай бұрын
Based on feedback in the Alpha testing phase we tried to figure out package sizes that cover a certain time of the day and still manageable when it comes to download sizes. Currently all our packages contain 20 HDRIs. If there is demand we can also make available the full day packages so they cover a longer period of time.
