​@@vast9467 Aluminum wire wrapped together and wrapped in a protective material, say duct tape, and glued into the neck it would prevent any possible breakage, allows the neck to hold poses better, and the neck won't have any tiny holes because the wire got bent the wrong way and poked out.

You forgot to remove the gallis teeth! The gallis in the OG JP film have no teeth!

Surprised you didn't mention it, but the whole head sculpt with teeth (which should be a toothless beak), and the coloration of the Gallimimus came from the Jurassic World viral website render. It's not even the same as the design used in Jurassic World which had the coloration of the original SWS design. I only picked up this figure because it was on sale, since I still have the original Legacy and Battle Damage versions which were more accurate to the source material, other then the weird feet sculpt.

I fear you are right. So sad as I feel like the Hammond collection is a really missed opportunity for Mattel. At this point, the only HC that I have bought are the human characters. How sad is that?

I think you realy improved on your points this video. You showed the thought process about each point and if it could realy work if your corrections were based on balance and such (specifically feet). Good job! I also agree with most of the points you made, exept a few such as the dilo hidden frill peice, as it looks pretty weird without IN MY OPINION. One thing I will say as a note is that these are catered both to a younger and older audience, so they cant go all out on the thin and small details.

I definitely prefer the Amber Collection DIlophosaurus over the HC version. Correct pupil, has better paint apps, and proportionally smaller feet. My only nitpick is the pattern shape on the back is not true to the source material. Of all the Amber Collection raptors, I think the best one was the JPIII one, even though lots of people have quality control issues with theirs.

The Raptors are the ones that sadly, I'll probably never get... They are way too off, it's sad. Your version would make me crazy after it, while the official one just makes me want to forget that it exists

i think HC is mosltly worth it for the "deep cut" species and perhaps the human figures. They should rethink their plans for the line, and perhaps rerelease the first dinosaurs in the future, otherwise i don´t think this line is gonna get more fan support

How do I know how big a 3d sculpt is before printing?

Because before you can print it, it has to go through a slicing software like Chitubox and in that program you can see the size and adjust it

Mattel still will not listen to you or any criticism, simply because those are cheap toys for like 13-15 bucks. What do you expect? Their plastic is cheap, joints are cheap, even paint rubbing off already (also cheap!). This is not collectors line, this is still just toys for older children. Amber Collection was catered more for collectors, however it’s quality even worse

Mattel does listen sometimes, they heard the community’s disappointment that the hc triceratops didn’t have jaw articulation and decided that all future medium hc figures will have jaw articulation.

I don't agree with this argument. Sculpts with better proportions doesn't cost more to produce, it's a matter of having more competent designers/sculptors.
