The story arcs that Tarriff comes up with are gold. The Beastmen in the rut was cinematic genius, especially with it being the foundation of the running gag of Skarsnik being the one that laughs at everyone else getting shit on by meta and map placements

Yeah, people hate on Mannfred because of how he was written in the End Times, since whoever was writing him had an Idiot Ball surgically implanted up Mannfred’s ass to make him stupid-evil when he’s supposed to be a cunning mastermind, lol. The obvious example is that Mannfred is *THE* reason Chaos won the End Times, because when Balthazar Gelt and a bunch of other wizards were doing a BIG ritual to save the world, Mannfred LITERALLY stabbed Gelt in the back and ruined the ritual, thus dooming everyone and it’s explicitly stated that he did it just because he was petty.

So Kairos was moved from the Fortress of Dawn to the Southern Chaos Wastes, and Alith Anar was eventually moved out of Karond Kar so that Lokir and Rakarth could have their little "Capture x number of slaves before the other guy to instantly confederate the Karond Kar minor faction" mission actually work, because Alith Anar was killing that minor faction on like, turn 4 when they had only minor settlements and no Karond Kar proper. Queek is also quite docile in IE compared to ME because he and Skarbrand end up with all the same enemies and don't have a natural diplomacy debuff. However, since Skarbrand is so aggressive and can move much faster, while Skaven armies can't really compete in autoresolve against Imrik or Thorek (Queek's neighbors to the east and south respectively) Queek often ends up boxed in to his starting province and unable to expand. Meanwhile, Skarsnik's starting province is so rich, that even with the Dwarf rework there's about a 50/50 chance that he will end up dominating the World's Edge mountains because he can throw 3 or 4 stacks of goblins at every 1 stack of Dwarfs, meaning even the Dwarfs' high autoresolve bias from all their armor can't save them.
