Ooh Sakuraco and Tokyo Treat subs are on my wishlist! Love your videos, even the nonfood has a food sponsor! I want to visit Japan very much-watashi wa Yonsei desu (Americajin). In Denden those paper dioramas, especially Studio Ghibli look fabulous. Also gachapon for realistic mini-food. I love making dollhouses and Japan makes the best mini Japanese-style food that can be found in gachapon. I love the controlled element of surprise in gachapon--you are still guaranteed to get a prize for your money, and it may be cool🥰. US gachapon doesn't seem to include such items? Please do a gachapon haul🙏❤

Paused over the floor with the guns. Mrs Eats was just getting excited by the pineapple grenade. My uncle went to Japan with his National Guard unit in the late eighties. He brought my dad some model kits that were 1:1 scale replicas of WWII hand grenades. The models were so detailed that you could unscrew the igniter and see how the weapon worked IRL. They were one each Japanese defensive grenade and U.S. smoke grenade, as well as two German grenades - the infamous potato masher and a small offensive grenade called a Goose Egg for it's size and shape. Offensive grenades are made with a shrapnel range less than their throwing range. Defensive grenades means that the fragments of shrapnel will fly over your position and, therefore can hit people who are attacking your foxhole while you huddle in it.

I probably could blow almost an entire vacation day in the area, just to soak everything in. 😄 I'm a bit surprised that the Taito Game Station actually had the 40th Anniversary Space Invaders Arcade 1-Up cabinet (@ 17:32) in the arcade itself. Those were originally geared for the home market as it's a 75% (3:4) scale & was sold flat-packed for $300 US. It was a 2nd Gen cabinet that has been discontinued (no longer listed on the Arcade 1-Up site) for some time.

Charmander being called charizard might be a fail, but the real disrespect is to walk past blue eyes (fair, its initial zone view), then past a triple blue eyes setup AND ONCE AGAIN in dino section ignore the semi-alternative/KTs final artstyle version of blue eyes (that is even a free to pose kit) all in the first couple of minutes of the video.

BB guns and air soft guns are considered children's toys here in America. You do have to be 18+ to buy them, though. Many adults do enjoy them. I have quite a few myself, and I'm 33. They make great costume props because they look more realistic than cap guns and actual toy guns that don't shoot projectiles or make the noise and smoke that cap guns do. My state, Massachusetts, has strict gun regulations. I'm not sure if that plays a part in a difference in popularity. I doubt it, though, as New Hampshire, our neighboring state, only follows our few federal regulations for owning a firearm and BBs and Air soft are fairly popular there as well. I think people use them for target practice at their homes. It's easier and safer than using your real gun when not at a shooting range. I should add that a lot of teens have air soft guns rather than BB guns, as air soft are safer than BBs. I have some of both types. My BB guns are strong enough to shatter the plastic BBs that are meant to be used with air soft guns. Metal BBs are better for actual BB guns. Adults tend to have proper BB guns more than kids will because you can still cause permanent damage very easily with them. My friend's brother shot her point blank with his when they were kids and she has a scar from it. Another friend of mine killed a chipmunk with a BB gun. Thus, they are, as time passes, being considered toys less and less.

6:30 - Have to correct Mr. Eats here, ヒトカゲ (Hitokage) is Charmander X'D Charizard is リザードン (Lizardon). And the one in the middle is Charmeleon or リザード (Lizardo). Fun fact - tourism vlogger 'Sharla In Japan' has her channel named after this Pokémon line - she started off as Sharmander, she's now Sharmeleon, and her aim is to become Sharizard :D (I think she changes her channel name based on her subscriber count). 22:59 - I wish I could work out which of these jewellery/make-up cases comes from what. I usually know these things due to the research of Kenny Lauderdale (he covers a lot of old stuff from Japan on his KZbin channel).
@____REXАй бұрын
There's nothing to correct. They didn’t say, 'This is a Charmander!' They said 'Charizard' three times because, obviously, most Westerners know what Charizard is. It was clearly a joke-the joke being, 'Pokémon = Charizard!!!1.' I thought that was already pretty obvious. As for 'Sharla,' how is she even relevant? Nobody cares.
