The Mage damage buff between attacks is to buff damage when you have to move. You will do a lot of damage machine gunning and standing still, but if you have to move for mechanics, you will get up to 40% more damage on your next attack.

@@daltonholland3384 Yeah, that's the point of maxing out mastery in one style, especially with the t6 passive being 60% prayer penetration. Even if an echo boss prays ranged you just camp your t-bow/zaryte crossbow and the justiciar makes you extremely tanky. Less to focus on, and less chance of you getting distracted and dying. Your damage might be impacted slightly because you don't have masori or other ranged strength boosts, but lets be honest... DPS is gonna be nutty with a 2 tic tbow

Accuracy will for sure matter, you just can't hit 0s. Justi will be less DPS than range gear.

If we get a Spec Relic as strong as last league, ZCB is 100% gonna be best dps in game. Especially with all the healing buffs and items we have, sacrificing xp to spec would be easy with the echo Sol bracers.

Even misthalin by itself has a top tier range weapon in the scorching bow (even on non demons). It’s overshadowed by bowfa+crystal armor in the main game but it is equal to cbow+crystal armor even on non demons.

T6 ranged with Tiranwyn means you can do all content ranged with bowfa + bp, don’t even need the desert echo bp. With monsters using protection prayers, perfect accuracy 60% max damage of a lot of hits is still a good bit of damage. Sounds legit.

Not sure on the best way to source darts without desert, which is the major downside. As for damage, with bowfa Masori is irrelevant, so that’s my personal plan. I don’t expect to get a tbow because I can’t play 8-10hrs a day, so if I get one it’ll just be icing on the cake.

I plan on Frem and Var so the sunfire set, echo jewellery and skill cape, god symbol and echo boots takes that to 53, maybe get holy wraps too or at the very least god vambs for glove slot makes a max of 56 for me, tir would take that to 60.

I’m pretty sure (unless more leaks come out that blow my plan outta water) that I’ve got my plan. Range based mainly, melee 2nd 6/4 M/T/F Barrows “mid game” Blowpipe Crystal+Melee weapons/Bowfa pre megas Endgame: enjoy Blowpipe/Tbow with no accuracy rolls in full Justiciar with frem echo jewelry, 4t scythe with 30% accuracy and 15% damage (crystal armor) Note: I know this doesn’t give tourist trap, but a lot of people don’t know, feathering dart tips does not require the quest, just smithing the metal tips, therefore you can get your dart tips from vorkath, and since you’ll be doing a handful of kills for leagues points anyways, you should be set with the 95% (99% after getting assembler) ammo saving passive.

in runescape you can miss (roll 0) or hit for 0 damage the first relic makes it so you can't hit for 0 but can still miss. tier 6 makes it so you cant miss

Definitely going to go T4 in melee and ranged, then I'll have to decide which I want to max. Will probably depend on what regions I end up taking / what echo items I get. I'm for sure going Kourend to learn CoX, but the echo weapon from that is tribrid so it doesn't really help me with deciding which style to max. Still have to decide on my other 2 regions. Leaning towards Morytania and either Tirannwyn or Fremennik

T6 passive being weak is good imo, makes it less mandatory so we can comfortably go 5/5 if we decided to without losing much.

T6 prayer penetration seems specifically there for people who just want to camp one style and still be able to kill echo bosses who will probably have prayers. It will be worse than hybrid without making hybrid mandatory.

Melee 4 stops the ability to rock dh at low HP. If you wanted 3 tick dh axe you need melee 5 which means you have melee 4 So 5% of the time I dh bomb I heal off 1hp. Would be cool if we could toggle that off.

Last tier of range sounds better than it is. Just because with good range gear you'll be hitting anyway. I'd say 6-4-0 on the big if that I could do Zuk which i doubt since I'm only starting to do PvM

With t6 melee t3 range and t1 mage, I would love to always hit with range but melee just seems more fun . 3t Scythe that has double accuracy so thats 3x 20% to proc echo that also each have 20% to proc more echos , 3x 5% to heal 48% of dealt dmg (echo possibly included? since it just says its an additional melee hit? Is the mage damage done the way that it is, to prevent people from having an insane max hit off rip. But still having mage be competent on higher health targets like bosses etc. I just remember watching a guy last league, spraying down lizardman shamans with Tumekens Shadow like the CoD Ac-130 Especially when you have potentially AoE spells. Having reasonably high gear, you could potentially step into a slayer tasks, like idk fire giants... Without the ramp up time, having that 40% max hit increase with the t6, would mean you could honestly step in, land 1 hit to lower them down... Then immediately kill up to 9 in 1 or 2 hits. Like, a slayer task could legitimately take you less than half the time any other t6 would have. Also with the grimoire relic, you wouldn't need desert to do barrages.

Mage t2 seems like it's designed for tribrid. T5 melee, T3 range (blowpipe is 1t at T3), T2 mage (slow but big hits). Also if it works the same as Berserker last league, all of your hits will get your T2 and T6 damage boosts until the first projectile impact.

First time trying leagues. I was thinking I would like to go with 3 melee, 6 ranged and 1 mage for combat masteries. Kourend, Morytania and Frem for my unlock regions but I didn't think about a source for ranged armor. Am I over thinking it or should I change a zone? I was hoping to try CoX, ToB and go for an inferno cape. I keep hearing that desert is a trap when it comes to getting points like doing mage training arena and the only other zone is Asgarnia to get Armadyl armor. Am I worrying about nothing?

Jesus Christ. The Scythe is disgusting with echo hits. If it works how I think it does, all three hits of the swing have a chance to echo and they echo based on the max damage of the first hit. It could easily shit out hundreds of damage in one swing.

Not really. If you can do echo sol, his weapons and bracers scale based off prayer bonus. Assuming you got the sunfire armour from the colosseum and take tiranwynn for the blessing, your max hits with the sol weapon will be insane
