My old late dad passed away last year i now have all his fishing gear some of the lures i reckon are 80 years old almost antiques lol

here in the pacific north west starting in October the fish will be 20 feet down plus. They don't typically suspend they'll be plastered to the bottom. Very seldom do we see the bass busting on anything near the surface. (no shad in most of our lake systems ...yet) we're starting to see token shad spawns in some of the ocean connected waters but certainly not the dominant species.

Yeah man. That's rough being down this area we see it frequently through out spring, summer, and fall (lots in the fall). I would struggle big time in those conditions.

YES! I like going with the SB 77.7 in the fall when the bait gets small, but I have been trying to test largers lures lately.
