Never a Trier word said, also in his last video, he advertising a Patek Philippe 5711/1R Rose Gold with Wrist Aficionado, said it's dropped from $320,000, to sub $200,000, Point us to your website, where like you said, it's for sale, at $315,000. Same with the Patek Philippe 5711/1A-011 Stainless Steel White Dial (2018), said it's dropped to $120,000, yet your advertising it at $190,000 on your website, under which reads "This watch is sourced and shipped through Wrist Aficionado. Please see our Pre-Owned Terms for more details" Also, if your selling their watches, on your Website, your earning Commission, then this is an advert, no? as I didnt see that anywhere!

It’s ceramic. All ceramic is very very scratch resistant, that’s why it’s used for Tiles. But if dropped the tiles would shatter.

to be fair, it's easy to say that more "unique" watches and "higher end" watches haven't gone down in value, because there's not many on the market to begin with, so dealers will keep a high asking price, but it doesn't mean that they'll buy it from you at competitive prices...

Should be a lesson. Buy what YOU like and don’t sell it. Keep the opportunists and people that only see watches as investments, out of our market. If you only like the “expensive” or popular watches, or you’re buying it as an investment, you’re not a collector, you’re not an enthusiast because you don’t love watches.

It's really annoying when people who can't afford the watches or do not own any luxury pieces have an opinion on everything...

Couple stainless Rolexes, vintage speedy, and some smaller stuff, which I adore and will give away to someone I love before I sell them. Just me. Of course wealthy people are allowed to love luxury stuff. Love it for what it is/how rare it is. Go watch Kevin O’Leary talk about watches. Of course price-point is discussed, but he talks about what he loves/hates and never talks about “investment” because he doesn’t sell his stuff. People are entitled to do whatever they want, but come on, there’s a difference. Michael’s motivated by return on investment in 1,000 different watch videos. He painstakingly asks “Value? Retail? Think it’ll continue? What’s next?” He sells the old ones to buy the new and popular. Which is fine. Most guys, like Kevin, love it for what it is. They usually have obscure watches that aren’t only the popular, trendy, and expensive ones.. It’s just an observation. There’s nothing wrong with being an opportunist and making money. I just wish they’d be a little more forthcoming. If I went into the piano business, I wouldn’t pose as an enthusiast/collector. I’d say I’m a salesman.

There’s no way to know if these are holding their prices. They aren’t bought or sold on a regular enough basis to see them correct with the market in real time. Trust me, if that dude were to hold a public auction for those watches you would see those values go down real quick with public sales prices.

To me Vacheron is the top then the rest. Glad they are holding well and picking up some traction as they should. Will be interesting to see what direction they take things. As for the market I think was a mix of people parking money and flipping.

I agree with you about rm , I don't get why someone would pay soooo much for something that looks like a free gift that dropped out of A fairground bubblegum machine, don't get it, but it's like people pay fortunes for clarace cliff pottery which personally I think is bloody horrible, I wouldn't dream of giving it houseroom, I'd throw it in the nearest bin, but mad people actually collect the stuff, one person's meat is another person's poison I suppose. Cars watches have had the weird value offsets and what’s happening is everything will eventually return to their logical values but this doesn’t mean they’ll all suddenly be cheap some of them will remain the same or increase due to demand and industries struggling with back log on orders for these things like merc and Bmw are struggling to meet demand for their cars and watch brands as well and in this case their values will stay somewhat pricy but for older models that were priced outrageously because consumers saw it as a way to acquire various brand items will now reduce to the time relevant values 👌👌

Brittany with her Tudor was a bit cheap, so great fun to go over the top with RM and MB&F. Actually i am at the side of Adam for Vacheron Constantin. I like the Overseas tourbillon. The AP’s are good, but there is a RO who is the one that is the best black AP, the Karl Lagerfeld RO. That AP with the tourbillon is even nicer than Karl’s AP.
