The fit guy was speaking facts though, in the fitness world body dis-morphia exist wayyy more than you'd expect. For real, the first ranking was pretty much spot on. The only thing I'd change is putting the skinnier guy 1 rank lower but that's down to personal preference. As a skinny guy myself I dont find it attractive when you're that thin. But their re-ranking was just a pity party to make the others feel better about not being in shape. Kinda pathetic that none of them tried to correct the change when the well built guy got moved out of first place. I'd be like "fuck no you stay there, you've worked for this, I havent"

@@rasmachris94 Oh please stop embarrassing yourself. "fuck no you stay there, you've worked for this, I havent", how insecure are you ? As a skinny guy myself, I find myself very attractive and nobody can convince me of the opposite. Y'all seem to think that abs/muscle mean the most attractive body, I don't think so. I've never felt like a muscular body was more attractive than mine, like never. The question was " who has the most attractive body", not " who has the fitter body" . I still think their final ranking was shit because the overweight guy should be last but other than that, it's at everybody's liking.
@rasmachris942 жыл бұрын
@@lawtraf8008 I'm quite secure, Im not the person going on a tirade because my body doesnt match the conventional idea of attractive. I also work out and know that getting that built takes time and work so I'm just being realistic about the fact that he's clearly put the time and effort into his physique and I havent. Good for you if you think you're attractive. More power to you. Attractiveness is subjective in the first place. But being healthier logically is more attractive. Nobody wants someone who looks bulimic or overweight because it has health implications. Being really underweight as I have been in the past isnt attractive to a lot of people, although it's better than being overweight, the same way as being too built can be unattractive. On the whole more people will say that a well built guy looks more attractive than a skinny guy though there's nothing wrong with preferences for either. The reason for which is likely that the built guy working out likely knows more about health and fitness and therefore has better health and fitness than the other.

This really makes me wonder if the people behind Jubilee, the people responsible for making these videos, even read the comments in their own videos. I'm guessing either they don't or they do (sometimes) and don't care. You'd think at least one person at Jubilee would go, "You know, a lot of people in the comments really seem to notice that we're bullshitting, that the people we invite to be in our videos are constantly bullshitting and if we do have someone who says something real, we just edit or remove what they say and they're just barely in the final product. Maybe we need to rethink our strategy and do something completely different as opposed to always catering to the woke crowd." It's like during the whole "good vibes, friendship, energy" part of the video. Somebody should've stepped in and said, "No no no no no no no no, we're not doing this. We're not going off to 'sugar coated, good vibes' land where feelings are never hurt, where we all eat rainbow-colored cotton candy and talk about unicorns. You guys are in an experiment right now so do the actual experiment." Either that or they should've just gone ahead and edited all that nonsense out. Tl;dr: The people over at Jubilee need to get their shit together or just throw in the towel.

12:55 I disagree with Rob here. He said he looked up to this person his entire life and then they said that to him. It definitely wasn't an excuse, but you can lose motivation by comments like that... When I was working out for almost 1 year, someone said to me they didn't see any difference from a year ago and thought I was lying about going to the gym. I lost alot of motivation because of that, so it's definitely possible he just lost motivation because of that comment...
@AneXineohp2 жыл бұрын
But like, the problem is, there’s just not enough context to really understand where that “you looked better when you were fat” came from; like the 5 guy’s point just was too unclear and vague.
@AneXineohp2 жыл бұрын
I mean there’s no denying that it could’ve made him lose motivation, it’s just a question of what’s really his point in saying that which you aren’t really understanding
@regispanorama18992 жыл бұрын
Lmao bro, if u actually worked out for an entire year, there would be a huge difference in your appearance, it would be noticeable to EVERYONE. What it sounds like is, you actually didn’t make that much progress in a year bc you have a poor work ethic and weren’t that disciplined. So someone was actually speaking facts but you view it as them being “mean” bc you have a problem with taking accountability. So just toughen up. If one person says something that hurts ur feelings BOOHOO? What’s everyone supposed to do? Be soft and lets everyone’s words effect them. Toughen up and stop pointing the finger

fit > decent > skinny > beer belly > fat. It is what it is, no point sugarcoating it. Tha audience ranking said it all. I've been skinny to skinny fat my whole life, today after 2 years of discipline I'm decent and aiming for shredded in the next five years (My goals are performance based but the looks will likely come with it) Best thing I've learnt in my journey so far is to call out the BS you are and do, EXACTLY as it is. Only once you can admit it to yourself, you can start working on it and eventually change it for the better.
@lemau8458 Жыл бұрын
Mad props to the skinny guy tho for coming on Tyr show. I used to look exactly like him and hated my body, I would've never had the confidence to show it like that. Hoping to be like the brotha soon 💪
@TheirStories-x9f2 күн бұрын
I find it crazy that he thinks he's the least attractive. I'm a girl, and he has the most attractive body type in my eyes. It reminds me of this guy who i used to swim with. I had a crush on him, and I quit on day. I found out through his sister that he quit because he hated people seeing his skinny body. Like, bro, most of my friends who are girls prefer skinny guys to the guy who was ranked first. It's just male social media or maybe weird niche American beauty standards that don't apply elsewhere. I feel like men get recommended gym videos of gym bros and think that's what women want. When really, it's just what men think women want.

i like slim/less buff guys so as a woman I would choose the one on the far right from the first line because he has a small build but you can still see the ab formation. but yea you guys kept it real #2 and #1 would be the subsequent picks based on body alone
@marcquees53122 жыл бұрын
I know that Jubilee are more of a progressive type of channel based on the type of people they bring on but sometimes I feel like Jubilee isn't realistic sometimes. Like the majority of men aren't out here telling other men that whole "you are who you are" narrative and you need to be proud of it thing. Like I understand being insecure about your body but most men aren't saying the shit they're saying. We usually talk shit about each other and laugh it off, we ended up having self realizations about ourselves and we decide to make the change or we just accept what we have and what comes with it. Like in my opinion I can tell they specifically chose men who seem slightly more on the feminine side because probably were more likely to believe the whole narrative I mentioned earlier.

This is one of the things my mates are most honest with me about. Genuinely, it's just about who's got better arms, who's got a better chest, who's got a better back, who's got better abs, who's got better legs and we put them all together and average them out. In this experiment, people don't want to rank people they don't know.

But that's just your experience. In many cases, body shaming will just lead to eating disorders and body dysmorphia, which could lead to depression and suicide. I agree, if you get bullied, insulted, have bad luck in dating, or whatever, then yeah, hit that gym, but you should work out for yourself, not because someone said "You're too scrawny, go eat a burger".

yall would be surprised but people who spend a lot of time and effort on their physique are more likely to have body dysmorphia and since they know their body more than the average person they see all the flaws they dont want, even though others say they have a dream physique
