I'm the designer of the "Gold Mine Expedition" 😊 Thank you so much for your kind words about the model! This truly feels like a dream come true, and this was made possible thanks to the amazing LEGO community all around the world! I'm so honored to be featured in your video vignette once again! Can't wait to see what's coming next. Keep up the excellent work, love your yt channel 👍

I agree that this time, the 5 designs selected r really nice, and could interest me, contrary to the previous 5 series. Gold Mine Expeditions and Forest Outlaw Den even were 2 of the submissions to which I put a "love it" when I voted; so, it'll cost me a lot when they'll come out, as both count many bricks. I anyways regret a few tens of designs that didn't make it through and that I prefered to those 5 chose ones, like Ragged Crow Inn, Dragon Attack, Bandit Lord's Hideout...

When I first saw these sets announced the gold mine didn't immediately excite me but after watching this and looking into all the details sandwiched into this build I cannot wait to grab this set. All 5 of these are incredible and I agree this might be the strongest set of winners yet

My favorites are: 1- Sequoia Tree Trail Set. I love these forests! I've only been able to see them in documentaries, but I'd love to visit them someday!!! 2- The Art Factory. The whole set is spectacular! Its style and design too... And the Elevator is 10-10!!! 3- Off-Road Adventure. It would be great to display it next to the Sequoia Tree Trail Set! Now LEGO City has a set that I think is coming out next year that is super similar! Not as detailed as this one but quite similar! I don't know if this will affect it!!!

Thanks for covering Off-road Adventure and everything going on in BDP, I'm really excited to continue the story of Camping Adventure from Series 3!

For sure! Super stoked for you! 😄 It’ll be a must buy for Series 3 fans 🙂

While it was as a Lego Ideas set, the Art Factory isn’t a modular building - which has a specific set of requirements - but it can easily be “adjusted”
@gordonwerner2 күн бұрын
I am definitely getting the Off-Road adventure set as it is the mom as well as the dad who was featured in the series 3 camping adventure set along with his daughter-the suv allegedly has a trailer hitch to connect with the camper

The “wooden canopy entrance to the visitor center” is a slice of a long felled sequoia that the minifigures can walk through

Thanks for sharing. I lived in Northern California for many years and went to Sequoia National Park a few times. This lego set is an absolute must to get for me. It feels very tranquil.

I was honestly surprised when the jeep/camping set made it. I just don’t understand BDP’s logic. Lego already has a yellow jeep of the same size currently in the market. It’s basically the same thing with a tent and a few shrubs added; something you can easily moc on the side. This set has two minifigures camping but the jeep can only hold one. Honestly this spot should be given to the vintage food truck or the forest encounter wagon

Wish Mike Psiaki would design the Secret of the unicorn ship(La Licorne) from the movie Adventures of Tintin... It would be so gooooddd!!!!

Here's the problem with the nature builds: The Sequoia Tree Trail and the Off Road Adventure are not the same scale. Plus the Classic Rover Defender looks to similar to the jeep from the Off Road Adventure

I have been checking for this video every day since Series 6 winners have been announced, and again you did a great job covering them! Thank you so much! Plan to obtain 2 copies of all 5. They all look great, but the Gold Mine Expedition is an absolute masterpiece. I am really curious what you think about the Botanical Garden. Would you recommend it? Did you get one yourself?
@BrickedtoPerfectionКүн бұрын
Thank you so much, Boris! 😄 I think the Botanical Garden looks awesome. It’s not often we get buildings from IDEAS, so I definitely appreciate when we do. Seems like it would be relaxing to put together. I haven’t picked it up yet, but I hope to sometime next year 🙂

Thank you for your response! I keep going back and forth if I want it or not. Fortunately I still have at least a couple years to decide.

How tall are those Sequoias trees? Do you happen to know?
@BrickedtoPerfectionКүн бұрын
Unfortunately, I’m not sure! But if I were to guess…I’d say 24 inches/60 cm 🤔

If your that low on money buy a second one sell the second one they sell for like x2 once we finally do get hands on them. I only buy what I want which has been nothing for awhile but want the art set and mining one this time around. Both I want to modify a bit as don't quit like both exactly. The mining probably be the biggest change need it instead of western to look more medieval.

Most of these won't even sell out and there are up to 30k copies. I don't think anyone is paying 2x for them. One of the most popular sets Bricklink Designer Mountain Fortress was $380 MSRP + Tax is now selling for $500 on Ebay, after fees you're looking at banking maybe $425...depending on how much tax you paid you're not even coming out ahead.
