Hot butter is just a glorified sex mod. For the real rpg experience you gotta go with primae noctis mod. It's a text based adult mod with full ai participation and diplomatic consequences and all that. Primae noctis refers to the Medieval practice where feudal lords had the "right to first night". The most surprising thing about this mod is just how well its maintained, updated, and the sheer amount of effort and care that the authors put into it, for what is a glorified porn novel addon.

One bad thing I found in "Bodyguard" mod is that my bodyguard always gets in my way in fight. 50% of the time when I swing my weapons i end up hitting my own bodyguards. In fights they never stay behind properly. If I charge, they will follow ofc, and when I clash, they will too. But for example, my horse just died under me, and I now have to fight on foot, and I start swinging, but noo, my bodyguards just keeps walking or riding in front of my swings and covering my sight from all sides. Great mod, but may need some more polishing.

I can safely say one can be a fan of natural enemy. Watching Artem I am pretty sure he has it for Battania and I pretty much put 60% of my plays as Battanian... raining death from half a league before my enemy can even see my army XD

banner kings is very good but have many incompatibility with very used mods like diplomacy ,serve as soldier and the "true" series ( True battle loot, true town income, true item values, true quality modifiers, true army costs ...) that's why i personnaly have 2 preset for the game ; an imperial campaign with differents mod and a Vladians one with BK and some other mod

a note on the bodyguards mod you can have more than 5 you can have 100 and can set followers as them and even have an entire family body guard unit i know as i have an ongoing game that uses it along side the marry anyone mod and have my elite female cav unit made up of my wives as my body guard they auto detach from my 100 other horse men once the battle starts

I currently play with "Eagle Rising" but I am sure, you heard of this mod allready. There were also some cool armor mods for Spartans and Greeks but they are outdated allready. Check out the mod "Bretwalda", it is similiar to "Brytenwalda" for Warband but it is still not finished. Looks promising!

You just drag and drop the contents of the folder into your modules folder in your bannerlord directory, steam workshop is easiest I agree, but modules are super easy as well, I recommend looking up a guide on how to install mods manually if you want to because all mods won’t be on the workshop I’m sure

Hey Valentin, I tested this and if the faction leader you're approaching is already in a war with another faction you can't pick the kingdom in the drop down menu! Hope i could help 👌

Thanks for the reply, Artem! But what if I am already at war with someone and want another faction to join? I am at the late stage of the campaign and have 3 factions fighting against me. I am playing on Realistic difficulty, so I could really use some help there… :) And it seems that “Alliance” feature in Diplomacy mod doesn’t help much…
