The fourberie mod allows for something that should have been in the base game. You can actually sally out during a siege into the siege camp and attack the enemies and their siege engines, while they slowly push reinforcements out to counter you.

This has been in the vanilla game since the March 1st 1.1.0 patch. "Implemented the sally out ambush mission. Players can now initiate this mission to destroy the besieger AI's siege engines." It works similarly too, the enemy keeps spawning reinforcements and your goal is simply to destroy the siege engines and retreat to the walls. The Fourberie mod doesn't mention this as a feature, I think you may have confused it. Although I do agree that mod has a lot of features that should have been with the promised "criminal system".

Realm of thrones has a huge game of thrones map with every faction, and you can get flying or walking dragon mounts that do fly, like over a castle for example, and you also get fire breath

chainmail is not good against piercing strikes in reality. its impenetrable for cutting weapons but helpless against blunt force and pretty bad against piercing weapons. Thats the reasons why people had shields until platearmor was dominating the battlefield...because arrows would go through mail regularly. And still when mail was worn it was worn with fabric and tunics for protection against pierces and blunt strikes

Fabric doesnt help against pierce damage either, spears irl were op for a long time, and your common soldier wont have Access to plate armor anyway, other than helmets

Would really kill for a drop spear mod, where you + AI drop those huge weapons when they change to sidearms, and have to pick them up again later. I always found it immersion breaking when things just magically stick to your back

I am into the first mod, and I must say I am in love with it because I always wanted it more immersive place outside of the Warzone and within your own castle instead of just going through menus. I’m very happy that I’m trying do as much vanilla play through as I can before diving into mods because it makes mod feel so much better. I did The same with fallout new vegas and wentthrough 300 hrs before diving into mods

Drastic Battle and Realistic Battle AI make the combat so fun I have spent hours just grinding small scale fights on foot in playthroughs before, spears are unrecognizably better and I have no idea why it isn't default yet because I didn't have any idea why it wasn't default like 2 years ago or whatever millenium this game came out in. Imagine if it had a competent dev team that made content lmao.

The High Middle Ages Calradia (Unit tree) provides a needed rework and adds sigificantly more variety instead of having your entire army wearing two different outfit sets

I like it but too many units don't come with shields in their variations so it's hard to make a proper shield line.

HMAC is garbage for it puts shieldless variants in a shield wall type units. .Current game balance makes such "shield walls" unplayable, as they'll get peppered to death regardless of their armor.

@@VAArtemchuk Absolutely agree. Why the fuck does an heavy vlandian man at arms doesnt have a shield? Do I really have to sort out units by types every time I start a battle and micromanage this? So anytime I upgrade a man at arms its a diceroll to see if they'll have a 2 hander or a shield? Makes no sense since shieldbreaker type troops already fill this niche. Alot of these modders will add 150 unit variations to a single unit and think it's amazing. I swear to god. Make Calradia Great again does this shit too.

What version do you play on? I have never gotten drastic battles to work reliably on the newest version. You are the first person to shout out Xorberax's Legacy Mod, and I rolled my eyes at first, assuming it was too gaming; as a HEMA student, when a game or movie shows someone with a longsword taking out 50 soldiers in full-plate, I roll my eyes. I am sitting on my horse shooting at the enemy when a heavy cav comes barrelling through my light infantry and goes through the whole rank, or I killed a bandit with no armor with a sword in one swing. Now it's my fav mod. Thanks for the shoutout. I never heard it before.

Sadly , i have to say here that some of those mods no longer work as of 1.2.8 or crash the game at one point or another. Might need an updated list. Relation Notifications and drastic battle are 2 examples that pop to mind and hold court is kinda buggy too.

I literally install these mods and none of them work together, I cant figure it out. The 2 I am mainly trying to use is the one where you can chop off limbs "Deferment" or something and also mod configeration so I can speed up how quick I get xp. Its all up to date, i download all the mods NEXUS says I require and still they appear but with a red cross next to them :( Quick Edit, when bannerlord 2 game out I was downloading dozens of mods and running them with only the occasional culprit as a crash. Now I cant get any to work in 2023

there is an idea for the mod that i have and sadly no one go for it and it is (add vision to soldiers) which means if they dont see enemy dont wont know where they are at the battle field unless scouts are there and in that regard ai would know which make game so cool when u ambush bandit they do have this asset idk why game developers dont put in it battles, if they did u could amobush enemy and have some solid tactics, scout perk was mroe meaningful and u had awesome unit called scout and this mod would be your most have as well

I see the 'Vexillum' mod that's required for 'Raise your Banner' hasn't been updated since February 2022 and I see comments on the 'Vexillum' mod stating that the mod makes peoples' games crash when they enter battle. Does anyone know if 'Vexillum' and 'Raise your Banner' are still safe to download? Or is there another mod like 'Raise your Banner' that's more up to date and does the same thing?

There was one weird crash I encountered during battles which might be because of vexillum, the game didn't stop but I did get the crash message. You might be right!

This might have been answered in the video, but does this list work with the standard version of Bannerlord 2? or would I need to set my game to a specific version in steam? I have tried adding mods like RTS Camera, but it just doesn't seem to work and my game keeps crashing in the vanilla version, even if I change my game version to one of the ones mentioned in the RTS Camera site on nexus mods, not sure how to make it work but I would like RTS Camera if possible as well as some others. Currently I have Open armoury and Open Weaponary and troop sorting I believe and my game runs fine in the vanilla version.

The only mods i use are: Family Control - lets you rommance anybody no matter your relation with them. (For "LOLS" you can even enable same gender pregnancy, so a dude can do it with a dude and chick with a chick) Serve as Soldier - Warband Simulator Edit Lord - Lets youmset up and stat or enable it so you dont have to chose between two skills, isntead game picking both for example faster with one handed and more damage with axes or maces Marry Anyone - Letting you marry characters liek Calatild, Rhaega (or what her name is, the southern empire empress) or even female companions. Cheats - Because Xoberlax cut through anyone did not work for me (my game crashed on launch) AK47, 870 shotgun, rocket launcher (add three new weapons classed as crossbows, each a seperate mod by same person) Automatic Crossbow - turns any weapon calssed as crossbow into minigun Automatic Crossbow AK47 Patch - gives the AK47 mod a realistic AK sound.

What is the mod at 3:41 that allows you to highlight your soldiers without the overhead icons? I like playing without icons but it can make it a pain to see your troops.

Bro this game is SOOO weird to mod.. The ONLY mods I have are the mods linked here (with their requirements) and the game always crashes. Idk what to do
