Yeah as a starter he's shit but as a backup big he's a versatile enough defender and playmaker that literally any team could use him, tbh he won't even get a minimum he won't get paid paid, but he's probably gonna get like a 2/20 or something like that because his skillset is still valuable in the NBA and enough teams will be willing to give him a chance that there will probably be at least a bit of a bidding war.

I remember Wood very well as a Bucks fan. A lot of other Bucks fans criticized the coaching staff for not giving Wood minutes and always keeping him with the Herd despite his big numbers there. Yes, Wood went on to be a productive player, but, as Wilson alluded to, on terrible Rockets teams. You saw the holes in his game when he joined the playoff contending Lakers. The Bucks ended up getting a better version of Wood when they got Bobby Portis.

At least in some times he looks somewhat of a compotent center and that's all you really need to ask him to do. Is he below average in terms of skill as a center? Yes. It’s back injuries which could last a lifetime. Ive had a minor surgery on my back as well & I felt good for about 3 months & after that I just couldn’t do it anymore. Literally walked out of aau it was that bad. I’ve had a 2nd surgery in which I feel alright (for now I’m 7 months in feeling good) but they can be a killer but as far as Simmons actually TRYING on the court he ain’t shooting any jumpers bro lol he don’t even care to make eye contact with the rim

A big problem is he refuses to switch hands & even jj reddick advised him to since he’s more natural at being a righty. Jj said he knew what was right for him & said Simmons was consistent from ft & 3 with his right hand but is scared of criticism if he switches shooting hands. Another thing is his bad & terrible back problems, if you’d had back pains then you know💯 so him being careful on the court explains. But my thing is he’s allergic to taking mis matches , going full speed & even trying with his shot. Every game he plays he literally doesn’t look at the basket & forces passes to his teammates when he has mis matches most the time
