I think the machines you lvl up thats why it looks like the water machine has 2 "versions". I think they are the same thing just one is a higher lvl. I say they have lvls just based on the auto cook being a lvl 3. I think they both machines need to be powered to use.

I think you will be able to craft 4 of the machines and connect them to make a bigger one

I do think these ancient machines can only be crafted if you own the DLC Eternity Isle, in the showcase video you can see how they're exclusive in the biome

1:15 Considering that in the live, they talk about the machine during the "gameplay of the expansion", I think this is pretty much an expansion thing. Something tells me the material needed will only be found in Eternal isle 🤔

I can’t wait for these machines. My pumpkin farm is a total of 399 pumpkins. I’ll probably need to craft like 9 machines 😂😂😂

It'll be interesting to see if there are other machines like an Auto Skimmer that floats around the water to collect fish. I think the Gem needed to start the Auto Cooker could be the new resource you obtain with the Hourglass tool? There's also that Alexanderite gem that ws listed on the Dreamlight Valley Wiki but never made available in the game.

I have a few thoughtssss - 1. Love bulk cooking, hope it doesn't require diamonds but if it does.... so be it I need that speed boost bad! 2. Watering will be interesting, honestly, right now I water my crops once and then just wait for it to rain, I wonder how much faster this tool will make it. 3. I wish they looked.... a little cuter... hahah

I'm really curious to see how the sprinkler works cause my pumpkin patch is huge! I'll take an ancient machine to water the crops...even though I originally kinda wanted Olaf's cloud to do that cause it just makes sense to me. I also feel like there has to be some multiplier we aren't seeing with the auto-cooker, otherwise the resources required don't make a lot of sense to me. So excited for this update!

The machines are ONLY for the expansion pass, which sucks because we've been asking for automated watering and bulk cooking forever now you can get them BUT ONLY if you have the expansion pass. That is kinda grimey on their part...

I’ve wondered if the crystals we farm from forgotten lands will be utilized in these machines since, atm, there’s really not a use for the crystals ? Not sure! Maybe some refined materials will power them 😍 I’m just excited
