Manychat just launched their new AI Add-on! Now, you can create AI Lead Generation chatbots, automatically build out your flows, use AI intents and more!
Today, I will cover what Manychat's AI Add-on is all about and how you can use it in your Manychat automations.

What is the Manychat AI Add-on?
With the Manychat AI Add-on, you can add four new features to your Manychat account:
- AI Step
- AI Flow Builder Assistant
- AI Text Improver
- AI Intents

AI Step
I think the most promising feature is the AI Step. With the AI step, you can create your own AI Lead generation assistants with natural language.
With the AI step, you can let the AI handle the conversation for you in a number of steps. And then you can tell the AI:
- What it needs to do at every step
- Whether it needs to collect information
- And if it needs to collect information, to what Manychat fields these need to be saved
And the AI step can also take into account the context of your business. So you can give extra business information and use that information during the conversation.

AI Flow Builder Assistant
With this assistant, you can answer a couple of questions and the Assistant automatically creates a complete automation for you.

AI Text Improver
With Text Improver, you can simply give the AI a text and Manychat can rewrite the text for a different goal, change tone of voice or translate it to another language.

AI Intents
With AI Intents, you can not only reply to certain keywords, but understand the user intent. So if someone types in a question and it matches with the intent, you can automatically reply to it.
This can save you a lot of time, because you don't have to manually enter all the keywords you want to match. You can just enter the intent and Manychat AI can automatically reply to it.

Thank you Joren! How does this work with your existing Lead Generation Funnel? Do you add in AI Steps where appropriate?

I am currently not using it in my Lead Generation Funnel yet. But you could include AI Steps if you want to do it based on natural language. The only drawback (currently) of the AI step is you cannot send reminders after 3 minutes if the user doesn't reply to a question, and that is possible with the User Input.

In general, yes. Adding reminders to your funnel improves the conversion rate.

Pricing is similar. You should sell the solution (a chat automation or chat funnel) and not how you make it (with or without AI). In the end, it should deliver results for your client.

It could using the AI step. But that would only work if you have don't have much data to train the chatbot on. Then, you can just add the relevant knowledge to the Context step. If you want to train your chatbot on a lot of data, I would still recommend using Chatbase.

hello Joren, I noticed for Instagram conversations, Manychat doesn't recognize images. Is there a way around this? Customers ask and send a lot of photos when asking price of products.

Nope, it's different. With Chatbase you can train a chatbot on your website and documents. That is (currently) not possible yet with Manychat AI.
