So the other day, I was just chilling on my couch, minding my own business, when suddenly this overwhelming urge hit me. I had to check out what’s new in the world of mid-luxury handbag brands. You know, just a little peek… Nothing serious, nothing harmful… And oh my god you guys, there are some gorgeous new babies out there that I am absolutely dying to adopt! Yeah, my next bag is from Elleme but called Baozi in cream. It reminds me of the lady Dior but modernised and of course better price haha!

It's a hard pass for me, I am afraid. The bags lack basic elements (e.g. bag feet of some kind to prevent scuffing). The handles are not long enough to make putting hands in and out of the bag a comfortable experience. The "artisan" stitching is just machine-sewn and will unravel within months. DeMellier is trying to look like Hermes Kelly crossed with a beach bag- and it's not a good look. The last one (Ryder) gave me heebie-jeebies with that cheap, fused lining.
