Looks nice in the video, but the reference points mentioned in the video are variable, so this doesn't work with every car, or even with every parking space. If either of the cars has different dimension A-pillars, or the car being parked behind has a lot of rear overhang, or the car being parked has more front overhang, or the two cars have very different wheelbases, or if the car being parked is wider, this will not work. Also useless without road markings. I dare anyone doing it exactly this way in a stretched fwd van, a 7 seated people carrier, a long SUV, or a pickup truck. You will be disappointed. Best reference points are the outer dimensions of the car being parked behind and the position of the rear wheels of the car being parked.

I was taught to line my cars mid section with the other cars bumper then cut the wheel all the way and slowly reverse cut. No straightening out half way. Lets keep it simple yall

Slightly wider than normal for your starting point. Then if you can get the rear in the right place and front past half way in you can usually shim the front in with a bit of forward and reverse

​@@brookesoard8371whether you believe or not, a lot of cars these days do have only one reverse light, on the passenger side. The counterpart on the other side is the rear red fog light. This makes it easy to interchange should the car be transported across countries with different sides of driving, Eg. UK and France, because the light bulb/led used have identical specifications. My Renault Clio has only one reverse light, my friend's Ford Focus has only one reverse light, my landlady's Seat Alhamra has only one reverse light.

Move backwards until the curb disappears in the right mirror, 6. Unscrew the steering wheel to the left, 7. move backwards

That used to be on the CALIFORNIA driver's test but it was removed because so few people could do it. If you are going to drive and park an automobile then you should learn the basic skills. But not in KALIFORNIA.....just another thing that was dumbed down.
