A moment that prob didn’t look badass at all from the outside but felt super badass to me happened when I was in high school. I think it was either freshman year or maybe sophomore. Was depressed and listening to pop-rock music while walking home from school. My school had this back entrance setup that would take you to a nearby parking lot so some ppl would leave through that entrance to avoid all the parents picking up their kids. I was walking past that entrance which involved crossing the little one way street that’d have a handful of ppl pulling out of it. Usually nothing would happen, either no one is there or they stop and let me pass. One day, while I was jamming out to music, jacket hood over my head, super depressed and edgy looking (as one does in high school) I was heading to cross said street when a car was getting ready to pull up, they paused for me, like they should and usually do, and I began to walk past. Now I guess they must’ve either let go of their breaks or something cuz about halfway through walking past the car, I felt it start to move and actually hit me (really just a bump but having a moving car touch me startled the hell out of me) so I put my hand on the hood of the car and on instinct just hopped over the remainder of the car in a way that felt really smooth. Adding to the smooth factor, I was listening to Dont Threaten Me With A Good Time as this was happening and I didn’t look away from in front of me the whole time, never even looked at the ppl driving the car. Just hopped the corner of the hood and kept walking forward like I didn’t care at all. Felt rlly cool in my head with the music. Prob looked weird and over exaggerated as hell to the driver tho lol
