I disagree with this one, the practice of retaining your seed is not self righteous or prideful. There are many Christians who practice semen retention but it’s not just about retaining seed for all these “super powers” that people claim. Or are not having sex but restraining from ejaculating to harness energy. Many Christians practice abstinence more so to say which would include retaining you seed, not watching inappropriate content, and having sex until marriage for a particular reason. And it not for selfish reasons. Discipline is not prideful, this practice can help you get a better understanding of purpose over pleasure. Which is needed in walking with God. The right intentions one should have when practicing semen retention is getting closer to God. Because sometimes our desires are the things that keep us lost in this world. You even said what it states about sexual immorality in the book of Revelation, so how could doing a practice to overcome that mind that leads to sexual immorality be of the flesh or prideful. The only thing I can agree with is that it should not be linked to chakras and new age teachings .

Yeah i understand your point of view, people on semen retention who do it to glorify themselvs or girls that is idolatry and pride. However, doing it to practice focusing on God, and not your fleshful desires to masturbate and lust is an amazing thing. At first I was ashamed what I did behind the scenes before I found God, but now I have pride in the lord Jesus Christ, and giving my focus on him, and not on touching myself. I no longer deal with shame because I am not willingly touching myself anymore, im able to focus on him, and have energy that I was constantly releasing. Semen Retention is a great thing because you keep yourself pure, and dont have to deal with the cycle of dopamine - climax - regret. It is the devil trying to deceive you. it's only a temporary feeling that comes with regret, shame, and conviction. Every time you feel that temptation, go into prayer. Prayer is where the true power is because you feel peace, and your temptation will go away. Also if you have hobbies, make sure to avoid being idle like laying in bed for example if that triggers you, when you replace bad habits with good ones, you get your brain accustomed to doing that thing. God still loves you bro, do not feel ashamed that you make mistakes, ask for forgiveness and guidance away from it, and it will be given to you if you have faith in the lord, because he did it for me. 🙏

Great message! If it is not powered by the Holy Spirit, there’s only one other source- even if it appears to be helping you or getting results. Jesus saved me out of New Age/witchcraft- so grateful! There are a lot of churches that pick up practices that are not of God- If it does not point to Jesus and/or points to self worship, it’s not the Holy Spirit regardless of what you see or experience. God wants the best for us but we need to surrender daily and give up our desire to control everything

Or uh- just follow God? God clearly indicates sex is good, but for a purpose, and that is inside of marriage. You cannot fight temptation and win. Only God can. If you fall accidentally and not purposely; and even so; ask for forgiveness with a contrite heart, and He is just and merciful to forgive you. You will not be able to stop by ‘semen retention.’ You will not be ‘doing yourself a favor’ because you shouldn’t do it at all; using it before marriage. So instead of ‘trying,’ will you learn to give it to God? Is not He the One who MADE the parts of our bodies that create? So stop trying by yourself. You’d never win; because you enjoy it. But God hates sin. So our hatred for sin is not from us but Him, and we need to not condemn but to make aware: Nothing you do will ever work. Even if you started living perfectly right now, you’d die and get your wages. Christ is the ONLY Way.
