I sometimes forget. I couldn’t kill one to save my life when I first started 😂 . I had the opportunity to hunt with the best in the world. Great video gents. Coyote populations definitely needs to be maintained. Just like the wild hogs out here in Texas. The hogs are completely out of control and destroying farms and crops. There is absolutely no limit on them and can be hunted year round. Ranchers invite people to hunt hogs on their land. A Texas wild hog hunt video would be awesome if you could make it work. Y'all should do a quail/chukar hunt up in Kane Springs in rainbow canyon between Alamo and Caliente. My pops and I used to hunt there for years. We were both born and raised in Vegas. Dad hunted Kane Springs for like 50 years.

@SinCityOutdoors the populations I think have declined over the years. I wasn't sure if you had been out there before. What about searchlight area? A lot of guzzlers out in that area. I have a guzzler map book i got from NDOW. Its a great book. It was a few years ago my pops and I went out there, and we saw quite a few birds. It was the one and only time we went out there. We usually only camp out one night, so it was harder going there for one night than Kane Springs

They do get out of control and they’re not nearly as easy to hunt as you would think. The squaw boxes that they have nowadays really help a lot though. Coyotes at this time of year are out to fatten up for winter, and stashing small prey for winter. Here in Colorado the coyotes have been terrible this year, and have started burying prey early this year. Chickens and poultry have to be locked up every night and watched all day because they are coming into people's yards close to houses and barns in the middle of the day. The Coyotes are getting fluffy early and acting like it's going to be a bad winter.

The bobcat encounter was amazing and I appreciate your love for nature and all the critters. Such a beautiful cat and so deceptive with it looking so much like a house cat. I understand the need for population control of predators and I appreciate you’re collecting for research. I am saddened that there are no options but sometimes the balance of life just works that way. Some may ask why not relocate but they don’t understand relocation of wildlife does not work. These creatures are territorial and will just try to find their way back. Of course they feel welcome and comfortable in the cities in the neighborhoods because we’re in their backyard and they’re just trying to take it back. Unfortunately for the critters, we are more often a stronger predator and we do defend our territory. Please keep doing what you do and educating people and demonstrate for them that even though you are hunting your respecting the life of these critters and nature, it’s not just fun and games and I appreciate that you never show it as such. The way you’re showing that even a predator when it’s down, deserves the same respect and appreciation as any other life lost is admirable.
