I'm wearing my 1000 mile boots and shoveling snow. Slipping and sliding all over the driveway with this flat leather sole. I need new soles that have more grip. Would love a new leather foot bed and a full re build. Hmmm.

Love the close up on the stitching machine- it's a beast. Those needles must be made from bell metal. I am guessing spraying the water when grinding the vibrams is to stop them melting or is to keep rubber dust down. Lovely result CG.

Thanks mate. Yeah the honey vibram is a slightly different material from the black ones I've used previously. I found using water lessened the burn on them and helped create a much smoother finish. Well spotted mate! G

Great job, they look fantastic. I've got a pair of Red Wing Moc Toe Oro Legacy boots that would look great with that sole on them instead of the standard white soles. Where in Scotland are you? I'd rather give my money to a fellow Jock than send the boots down south!
