Beautiful home. I like the idea it empties itself bc then the dust or debris doesn’t go back into the air. We also have the hand held vacuum. It’s a cool lil tool in my husbands man cave 👍🏼

You can use a high lift jack with a bit of chain and a small bow shackle to get out the star pickets very easily. Great video as usual and very interesting to see more than just lawns 😃

The easiest and fastest way to remove or set new posts if you need to...your mini excavator with a chain to remove and just using the bucket to install. Least amount of back breaking physical work tool you can use

As for the septic systems you trim the grasses, reeds, perennial flowers etc growing over them. They help disperse the effluents so dont kill them

Don’t worry about taking down the chicken wire because I can guarantee that it was a zero deterrent to deer! Not only could they just stick their head over the top, but deer can jump 6’+ (American here 😁) fences. The place is really looking pretty 👍💚👏🤎

We use a jack to pull out steel posts. Just wrap a small chain around the post and jack it up and out. It all looks much better with the chicken wire gone!

Turn your green waste into compost. I’d be embarrassed on acreage to put green waste out for collection😂. Go to local ag shop and ask for a “star picket puller outer” (technical term).

A Hi-Lift Jack is the best thing to remove those star picket posts.

Try tying a string around those reeds and cut the top that way it's all in one bundle then you can level it off.

The stakes should be able to be removed with the excavator existing bucket and/or with a toothed bucket. I can think of 3-4 different ways and that’s not digging just lifting. Ways with and without chain.

Probably the easiest way is just nudge the stake with the bucket back and forward till it breaks the seal and might then lift straight out by hand, that could leave the stake bent, depends if re using them or not, or alternative try heavey sling/chain method may keep them straight.

There is a tool for extracting star pickets... simple and effective, or make your own with a strong metal bar, a bit of chain and a couple of bolts

fun fact: at the beginning of the video you said all of your chickens lay eggs, however, male chickens (roosters) do not lay eggs. Only female chickens (hens) lay eggs. Inside the developing ovary of every hen are hundreds of potential eggs, an organ male chickens do not possess.

You’ve been taking the piss about your egg-laying boy chickens for months now, but people still fall for it. Evidence of a stellar joke. Personally, I was hoping you’d fall through the reeds and go hip deep in the septic effluent, so I was disappointed. Next time, just use your new excavator to pop those fence posts out. If you want to plant something around the reed beds, why not a bevy of wildflowers instead of (yawn) more fecking grass? They’ll self-seed and be low maintenance. Attract pollinators for your garden, too. Have a terrific day!
