The most interesting thing is that you can't see how really hard a punch was until you see it in slow motion. The speed of lightweight it is 😎

I saw some quality plans in the place of counter punches, really nice. Should've been on paper. His name is Ryan but he ain't lyin'.
@willtherealrustyschacklefo38122 жыл бұрын
Depends on the method for performing the strike being used, conventionally yes, but at much higher levels of skill you do not need great effort distance or speed to strike something extremely hard, also another thing most overlook is actually properly transferring that force into the target, it doesn't require alot of force to have a great effect
@lotharluder27432 жыл бұрын
@@willtherealrustyschacklefo3812 for me it looks like he has tool to see things in slowmotion when he is fighting so that its easy for him to put everything on place. In young age I experienced once such a stage of mind while in a fight. I guess all topsportsman develope a kind of paranormal conciousness. The trick seems to hold it long enough.
@willtherealrustyschacklefo38122 жыл бұрын
@@lotharluder2743 well that's typically what takes place during physical altercations etc, but I see your point, Even tho really if you are using your eyes to react your moving too slow even predicting where they will go in the cases where it's possible, can still be alot slower than just reaction without thought.

It’s not that great, most of his punches seem wasted. If someone’s covered up, you make angles body head to open it up. He thinks he’s in tick Tok slamming out punches losing stamina. He’s got raw talent, I just don’t think he’s world class
@criscris428 Жыл бұрын
nah he is tall for his weight class people has to move in to reach him so those counter hooks and straights comes off easy. I'll be impress once he is peeling guard cleanly, and using his footwork to get better angles, also if he tightens up his defense. those three things when he has improve he should go after those champions...

The only near-illegal punches from Garcia were the Rabbit Punches to the nape he sparingly did. But since the punches started before the opponent ducked and weaved low, they are considered valid, and are rightful punishment for boxers that have the habit to go low, at the waist height (since you can't punch below the waist, by ducking, they offer only their backs and nape, and force the adversary to limit his punches to uppers, or straights to a weaving head) What I can tell about his punches is that they are FAST and SHARP. The man hits where he wants to, even when the opponent tries to dodge.
@robmen1402 Жыл бұрын
This video is not literally about illegal punches lmaoooo. That's not what this video is, lmaoo. Also hitting the back of the head is only illegal when it's intentional. If you're opponent ducks forward or is moving towards you and you throw a hook at them and it hits the back of their head or behind the ear that is not even close to being considered illegal or intentional. A lot of clowns are always saying this for several fighters when they see it that claim to be boxing fans but don't understand it.

@phillip9468 Жыл бұрын
Mike Tyson had a classic "low duck & weave" style. It also forces an opponent to lower his sight to watch out for uppercut & short jabs to the stomach & ribs. This also makes them vulnerable to the looping left or right hook that is thrown as the fighter lifts to a more "normal" fighting stance. Another Tyson speciality with the left.

Hes an out boxer meaning he mostly uses his ranged jabs and counters. Once he knows hes done enough damage to you, then he can unleash his combinations which are extremely hard to defend against because of the speed of his punches. I feel like it would be harder for him to deal with a boxer who loves an in-fight and loves to fight in clinches but hes still an incredible boxer. Sucks that nobody sees some of these actually illegal hits until after the fight is over. (If you read the whole thing i hope you learned something tbh cus this comment is way to long)

Fantastic fighter, but a lot of the blows that decked some of these fighters were 100% to the back of the head. Some of them were already face forward over their toes and Garcia came with a 12 to 6 motion punch..
@crzyces16932 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the exact same thing. A lot of the solid punches were also landed *AFTER* crazy hard cracks to the back of the head. Back of the head punch may be easy to recover from, but they throw your equilbrium really, really easily to the point were a _push_ or graze punch can have you thinking up is down and left is right. As soon as those punches hit the ref should be breaking it up and deducting points if it happens more than once or twice. If a fighter is hit in the back of the head with said illegal blow then hit solidly in the jaw and knocked down to the point where they can't continue at *BEST* it should be an NC, at worst a DQ for the kid. Great speed, great power, and great accuracy which makes me think he dosn't care. That's not good because the longer it goes on the more difficult it will be to train out of him. He doesn't need to hit people in the back of the head and neck to knock them out, and if they decide to start enforcing the _cut the shit to the back of the head/neck_ rule and he is against a good fighter with good D there is an extremely good chance he loses. Either by DQ or just gets rocked bc he is going to have to concentrate really hard on not doing that, which is omething you really can't afford to do in a fight (think). If he's forced off instinct nd training and into "Wait, should I punch now? Is his head down, I've already lost two points" he may very well find himself on his back. If he fights a hard hitting vet who doesn't take any nonsense in the ring then even worse for him, he may get it back, which is how a lot of fighters learn their lesson. If he was just swinging like a nut I'd be fine with it and think _"Ok, he just needs to work on that,"_ but again, he is so accurate I have to think he is just a very talented and very *DIRTY* fighter. I don't like that shit.

Illegal blows? "Protect yourself at all time" If Garcia doesn't tuck he's chin in, he's going to get caught by a top rank opponent.

and he's not afraid of staying in the pocket and taking a few shots. it's hard to tell from these highlights what kind of chin he has. but as long as he keeps connecting with that kind of power it may be awhile before someone tests his chin

ryan doesn’t purposely go for those shots, it’s because his opponents move or duck down leading to an illegal shot, so it’s the opponent that puts themselves in that situation
