The Garcia-Velez fight was an example of how patience on the part of Garcia benefited him during the course of the fight. Velez just pushed forward hoping to corner Garcia. Garcia was more mobile and exploited defensive flaws of Velez. Knock outs are good but scoring points and out fighting and out smarting the opponent is better. Win each round one at a time.

Rigo Boxing I respect your opinion on thinking he is all hype. You seem to be the type that like starting arguments on the internet which I get, its the internet and everyone has freedom of speech and this is probably the way you want to express yourself and get your opinion across. I see that you posted a couple of videos on your youtube channel of your amateur fights. Thats cool man I will check them out. Anyway man no disrespect to you, but when you are fighting at the level that Ryan Garcia is fighting you gotta kind of have an attitude that he has, its to sell fights and people love that about fighters, the confidence that they show. I'm not saying he is the best at the moment, but he could become that, you cant deny that he has the skill to become great, but I think that maybe he rubs you the wrong way. You can call me whatever you want, and I can call you a hater, but that wont really do anything. I respect you opinion, if you don't respect mine thats cool bro. Wish you the best. Imagination Is Power Hello sir I don’t know why you have so much rage towards something that you believe in. Do you not realize that Scientology is a religion? Everything that can not be 100% proven is a belief my friend. They, as in scientist do not know how the earth was made or how humans were made. It is all a hypothesis. Just like gravity and when they say that we live in a huge universe with many others. It’s not proven. Please do not be ignorant to these things. The earliest recorded writings of man are about religion. That it’s self should speak volumes to you. And you clumping all religions together doesn’t make your point any better, although I do understand where you are coming from it is nonsensical. You’re saying without imagination we cease to exist yet you don’t know where that imagination came from. By the laws that we are subject to in the world you would know that no creature can make something that is not of it’s self. Based off of that you can see that we have a creator. For example, when you see a building you know there was a creator/workers/designers. Yet you can not see them when you are looking at the building. But you know that someone crated it. Please do not respond with hatred or ranting. I just want to share perspectives.

Or you just don't get it? Mexican boxers don't make a habbit of running their mouths off like this kid does.. they do the talking with their fists inside the ring.. that's the way it has always been for decade after decade and that's the way the Mexican fans like it. Kidd is a bit cocky, But has the skills to back it Up. I’ll give Davis the edge should they meet. This match up would be one played Chess ♟ The other Checkers. You already know who Wins. I like Garcia, but He’s too good to sucker 🥊 on the break. He uses His quickness to a sneaky advantage which isn’t a bad thing, But It frustrates a opponent to do something non tactic. This, however, would be at an advantage for Davis who knows how to catch his opponent unexpectedly. I think Garcia knows What time it is. They both will know they’ve Been in a fight when it’s all said and done. Some blood 🩸 will definitely be shed come Fight Night.

Velez starting trying to pressure him as soon as he realized how accurate and fast Garcia was. The crowd booed him because they wanted to see a knockout. Ryan didn’t box off the ropes good, he didn’t box laterally and off the back foot well. @flywittzbeats4008 Жыл бұрын
@@twintopper8659 funny you say that, I left this comment 3 years ago, and I haven’t seen him progress much at all to be completely honest. To be real I hope the fight with Tank happens because I do of course think he will lose that one, but I think he’ll also learn a lot and get humbled enough to actually start working on his defense. I just honestly don’t see nearly enough defense work, or progression in his boxing IQ. But time will tell. So I do agree with you 🤙

Hueso duro es Vélez. Su tactica fué ir adelante y tener la iniciativa del ataque. A García hay que impedirle boxear, desesperarlo, él es rápido y golpea muy fuerte. No es invencible.

You gotta know the history behind the founder obviously. Oscar was raised in east Los Angeles (a Hispanic suburb). Also I only know the los Tigres del Norte corrido they played between rounds bc my stepdad's taste in music. Personally I like Spanish trap, but the audience is full of adults that like norteños so you gotta give the fans what they wanna hear.

Very good work from both fighters I see Ryan going a long way as long as he listens to his team and keeps his focus a big accomplishment being 19 and doing something positive in life. I know his footwork will improve over time because he stands tall at times instead of bending his knees I had that same problem changing over from amateur to pro but it will come.
