Velez starting trying to pressure him as soon as he realized how accurate and fast Garcia was. Went into guard and pressure mode, very smart decision on Velez’s part, but Garcia played distance and threw better combos and exploited openings too well. Both very good fighters though. This was a great fight.

Very good work from both fighters I see Ryan going a long way as long as he listens to his team and keeps his focus a big accomplishment being 19 and doing something positive in life. I know his footwork will improve over time because he stands tall at times instead of bending his knees I had that same problem changing over from amateur to pro but it will come.
