I haven't actually sold anything ever, but I recently got a lot of my grandpa's stuff, when he moved into an assisted care facility. He has has so many of these little pins; from the military, medical associations(he was a doctor), and fraternities. It's been so much fun to see all the things he's kept, and he's happy I'm giving new life to some of his possessions. You have great videos, thank you!

A Pimm’s Cup is a cocktail that is popular in the UK. It uses a liquor called Pimm’s Number 1, along with ginger ale, lemon and a cucumber stick garnish. A refreshing summer tipple. Nice cup!

I got ahold of some estate items of an Italian Catholic Monsignor, he had tons of Religious Items. I Listed the first relic out of maybe 30 relics total and it sold for $700 right away. After that I did a lot of research on these relics. How much you can get for these depends on a few factors-age, significance of the “healing power” of the person as well as ithe type (bone, hair, teeth, clothing, etc. ) Definitely a learning curve when dealing with listing religious items, especially not knowing anything about the Catholic religion! Sure do now!

It's weird that they sold them, coming from a Monsignor. If they've been blessed, then the Catholic Church considers them being sold a sin. It's called Simony. (I grew up in a Catholic house, lol)

@@audiooddities9982 his items were in our storage facility and the lot we got legal possession of. Tried to get the church to pay the bill since no payments were ever made on this specific unit, or payment for the move into storage. I thought the church would be interested in purchasing the entire unit which was approx 10 pallets of items. The church secretary for over 30 years actually tried to get us to deliver it to her home so she could “go thru it first” but we thought that didn’t sound right and said we would only deliver it to the church. They had already received a large check from the insurance company for someone stealing the items from them, and wanted to get everything for free, but at the end of the day our goal was to recover fees. So how would you handle something like this if you were in our shoes? What is the best way for everyone to get what they need while handling a situation like this?

I love selling smalls too - easy to list, store, and ship. My problem is when I find them I usually find an entire collection and it takes me a long time to get them all listed (I only sell online part time). Still working through a huge vintage matchbook/matchbook cover collection, a large vintage tie clip collection, and a huge vintage advertising pencils collection. Been doing lots of the stuff just to move it all.

Helpful Hint on Matchbooks; (That I have found) DON'T even bother with "commons" (Hotels & Famous restaurants are VERY common !) . DO bother with "locals' : i.e. "Joe's Diner in Madison Wisconsin" " etc. Local places that are gone forever , single owner . I often sell them to "That was my grandfather's diner!' people ! And I usually get $24.00 per book ! So when you sift through them look for the more unique ones and DO A SEARCH- make sure NOBODY ELSE is selling that one !!

Great videos. If I wanted to search for items like this on eBay what would I type in to do a broad search. So if didn't know exactly what item I was looking for but wanted to browse similar items

Loved watching you going through the small bits for sale, opening them for us to see the items. I see eBay has just increased the sale fee for seller items to £0.35% here in the UK, even though sales are non-existent these days. I hope your sales are going well Don. Thank you, Don, Charles in the UK

Smalls are the best - I think that pinback was a permit to wear make-up not sell it - the ladies version of a beard permit if you will......and i have never seen those BK postcards either - Thanks for sharing !!

Agreed , I just started selling and my best items are literally the cheapest to ship , I got pulled into the clothing by youtubers , but that stuff cost $5+ just to ship and my margins are super thin on clothing ....maybe the bins prices would make clothes okay , but my bread and butter cost $.64 to ship lol and I make more profit on each item than I do with the clothing
