TLC ,Queen Latifa some of the best songs to dance to! Soul Train was the place where most of the dances were imitated!

The 1990s era of new jack swing on Soul Train, that was for me nostalgia of fashion. 🕺🏾🎶🎶

Although I don't see her in this video, I always enjoyed seeing "Vale'. I believe she was on ST from about 1993 to 2000. She was awesome. Hopefully she ended up having a great life. 🙂

What ever was going on in our lives you would think hold up Soul Train is on this show had you proud to be an afro american yes and the show was on point and educational for spelling the scramble board we always wanted someone to get it wrong they always had all winners we loved their styles of dressing the soul train line was of brilliance showing your dancing 🎶 skills the 🕺 💃 dancers were exquisite we had so much fun on the 70s 80s and 90s this show gave us something to look forward too as a 🖤 black youth.
*When someone asks, "When America was great for Black people?" Here is my answer!* Jordan was on the Basketball court, and In Living Color was on the TV, and these slamming beats were on the radio!

Coolbreeze! You told the truth! Someone said why can’t we bring Soul Train back or a similar show with 🕺 the young people dancing to various songs? The music. That would be a problem! The great music is gone! Great comment! 😎❤️

Call me old-fashioned if you want, but the '70s up to the mid 80s were the best years for Soul Train. When it got into the '90s, most of these dancers look like they were trying out to be in a music video or the women look like they were auditioning for the strip club! The '70s and up to the mid 80s show dancers that were more relatable and not trying to look like they were strictly hollywood!

This is my area but I think the lines were better in 1990-93. It seem like right after Don stepped down after the 1992-93 season the dancers didn’t do much dancing just flips.

Many of the 90s Soul Train dancers didn't Have that Umph. Guess I got spoiled watching the 70s and 80s Dancer. Clothes was Fire 🔥 though.

.....the 70s dancers had the original flavor that changed the way black people saw ourselves......and how others saw us....the dancers were uncut with the flavor....and were more original....and were sexy without trying....

I wish this reel would have showed each dancer longer. Let us watch each of them dance instead of yanking the camera away. Otherwise thanks for this. I miss those times. The guys were so talented. The girls... meh. Everyone did that front kick up in the air.
