True every woman that support get man that way is worth to encourage and give recognition to. After at a younger age worked för a while in a heavily women dominated workplace I have to say that it revealed that they do a lot of denying to their men after shopping to, and they were so up to the competition of who did fooled their men/boyfriends most on that workplace ,they was so Into it they didn't really reminded that there was a man sitting and listening to what they described in the art of decieving their partners, the "Have you bought a new dress/bag/jacket...etc.? : no that's an old rag i bought long ago.!." Isn't exactly a predjudism or myth exactly. Trust is important in a relation is a truth, but trust is built in a cooperative way by two persons, and it's not rare that someone that distrust their partners just projecting their own action sometimes.

You can clearly hear how open these speakers sound even through youtube. Also the depth in this recording is amazing. I actually hear the subwoofers and they sound several feet behind the speakers. So I am getting a perfect picture from a sound perspective with X,Y,and Z depth!

Thank you Sarah for sharing your hubby. Nice video Ron! Thanks for posting. Your gear is really stepping up to a high level. Cheap(er) tweak recommendation: Sell your couch and buy something else with a low back. You are likely getting some reflections off the couch to your ears and blocking some sound reflections from behind that carry some nice decay/spatial information; if you remove that reflection and barrier then your sound field will open up some more. Cheers!

Thank you Sarah! Your Sacrifice is greatly appreciated, thank you so much. @Ron whatever happened to the Pure Audio Project open baffles? We've heard the Sapphires and now the NX-Oticas, and you frequently "compare" and contrast those. But, I was just wondering about those Pure Audio Project you had a while back?

Thanks Sarah! And thank you for the samples! I have a demo pair of OB-5s built by Danny that pre-dates these, but have much in common. I think they were the first open baffle series by Danny. I only have the enclosed servo subs and the OB-5s are stuffed into the corners, but they still sound pretty damn good. You are right about the mix. Hand them crap, they'll hand it right back to you.

Thank you Sarah.. Thanks for letting Ron make common folk hear that well designed directly heated triode amps aren’t all warm and gooey and/or soft sounding as some would expect (in relative terms) , but sounds lifelike when paired with the right speakers.. Ron, I hope you could add a link of an Uncompressed Flac or Wav of this session on Google Drive.. Thanks again.

I’m listening on AirPod Pros from my phone, so take this with a grain of salt, but I do think you can get some idea of the sound signature of a system via KZbin through a phone and earbuds. This setup is THE best I’ve heard in review online.

Not really, especially with open baffle. But I have bought some subwoofers and they are legit. Danny takes on the rule of no replacement for displacement and even if I'm wrong I'd like to test his theory. With the speakers in the video.

Thanks Sarah, wish I had a similar arrangement. Good to hear that you are driving the Oticas with SET, I built a TU-8600 with Lundahl opt and my god, I'm so glad I found 300b, even if it took this long. A little pricey to roll, but as I started with low end valves I can only hope they scale well, as the Elekit was kind of an impulse buy. My Yamaha A-S2100 has sat unused since the day I completed the kit, I'd been holding on to it with the thought of getting some Maggies, but maybe the Oticas would be a more worthy goal.

OMG Sarah I can totally relate to you. HA HA! My husband Jason just started hosting 2 Channel Listening. It's so annoying every weekend trying to hide out and be quit in the other room with my daughter while he tries to film or just having to leave our home. We are cramped in this tiny loud apartment while our new home is being built. I feel your pain! But we obviously really love our hubbies and know they are happy in their element loving what they do. The sacrifices we make for love and happiness! We are apart of the Wives Of Audio Geeks Club! HA HA! Big shout out to Sarah!

Thanks, Sarah. Ron, great video. I haven't watched videos for a while and really surprised hearing how well recorded this is. Wow! Also, I am really glad about these new music choices. It makes a HUGE difference with the watch-ability and enjoyability of videos. I understand the reference purposes of using some of the same royalty-free tracks across multiple speaker reviews to really highlight the differences but man, like you say some of the music here is sooo beautiful. Makes it easy to just turn off analytical mode and just enjoy. If they already sound this good compressed by KZbin... very curious to hear the NX-Oticas live someday in-room.

Sound quality on your Saphire demo was some of the most pristine sound I have heard on YT. Likewise the X-LS. Encore demo. I am not feeling the magic on this demo. Maybe it is the different tracks? I am listening on hybrid open baffle X-Statiks with identical twin H frame subs as yours. The bass kicking in on the track at about 20 min. was satisfying and nearly saved the day, but something sounded "off". And yes, we appreciate Sarah!
