Been meal prepping since middle of June and I'm down from 320LB to 291LB as of today. I weigh myself once a month (maybe twice if im impatient) but I've made a few of your dishes. I do have a culinary background so the prepping is easy but coming up with ideas sometimes I get stuck with the same old stuff. The ground beef teriyaki bowl with rice and broccoli is definitely in my wheel house along with chicken thighs. Roast potatoes and zucchini

Nice. I found some meal prepping stuff during covid and went from 210lbs to 160lbs (and yeah. Mixed in some extra walks or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. And a bit a bit of lifting. Nothing too crazy. Just something to keep my body active since i work at a bench or desk all day). And I still make these even though I'm happier with my weight.

My brother in christ please stop using cooked rice weight. Makes no sense whatsoever. Just tell us how much dry rice you've used (since any additional weight after cooking is just water), callories wil be the same and we'll have clear instructions.
@TheMealPrepManual3 ай бұрын
The reason I use cooked weights for rice is for two main reasons. 1. There is too much variation between the cooking methods and the type of rice that people use for final yield. 2. I sent out a survey a while back and asked people what they use and the majority of people said that they use pre-cooked rice anyway so in order to meet the needs of everybody cooked rice has been what I use. It’s not perfect, but no way would be. When I have used dry weights in the past, people commented and said they were left with not enough rice and we’re annoyed that they had to cook more. Unless everybody uses the exact same method and type of rice I use it’s never going to be perfect so by using cooked, I can ensure that everybody’s meals will have the same general amount.
