I build most of my own custom enclosures in my single cab f150 . I intentionally pointed my ports into the rear cab corners. It corner loads both sides of the cab and sounds excellent.

I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado with three 15's. with the port on the side because that was the only place it would fit. I would have put in a fourth 15..if it I could fit it

3 D1 Zv5 subs is .53Ω. perfect for a single large amplifier.
@TrendyBromando Жыл бұрын
Hell yeah .5 to .75 is the sweet spot if you have good rise too if you dont have a lot of rise it can send amps into protect
@DibeezyTheGifted Жыл бұрын
@@TrendyBromando with Z subs and a large enclosure you should have at least 2-3x rise. Get 1.3Ω-2-4Ω reactive power.

Port up ( hitting roof ) has always been efficient because of the open air space

I love trucks like this but the damage that happens to everything around the box sucks that's why i do flat walls now built into the truck, so only everything from the b pillar foward gets destroyed

I have 2 15s at the moment thinking about doing another box but I want to go 3 15s as well it’s in a car , i was told it wasn’t going to sound right any suggestions ?

My truck liked the passenger door most, I played 8hz - 55hz without an issue.

Driver side for sure. Better demo for the passenger and does better on the mic as well.

this is how i do my truck i found this is the best sound for me subs up port up driver side i use port instead of vent tho easier to change hertz for bass comps then go back to tuning low 3 wolfram 12s 2000rms 300ounce motors 12k amp been thinking on trying to squeeze 4 12s in tho imma have to get different amp tho like to trade my 1 ohm 12k taramp for soundignal 8k 2 ohm version so i can run 4 subs sense mine a duel 4s id still get 2000 to 3000 watts at 2ohm depending on voltage anyone watts to trade msg me on here my taramp looks brand new only has like 30mins of play on it

He has it like that because he doesn't have the breathing room the port needs to face the rear. Subs up , port back is the best. You just need the space
@Z71_Taylor Жыл бұрын
Subs up Port back would be for a suv. It sounds best in my extended cab Chevy Silverado is subs up port up like this, I’m running two 15’s
@bryanmeier272xp8 Жыл бұрын
@@Z71_Taylor i agree subs up port up in my ext cab s10 i have also tried pair of 15s years ago in a old ford probe hatch back subs up port back it was ok but i changed to ports up liked it better iv always liked ports back in trunks all these ways for me are just for demoing and listening not for getting high db numbers in bass comps
@alansantiago941 Жыл бұрын
@@Z71_Taylor for pickups yes. I thought I was just looking at some really tight trunk space 🤣🤣 . Yes , I'd agree for pickups that's the best option
