Another great video, thanks for sharing! I like how you also include video of the old buildings, ruins, the town, and the food really helps us to better understand your trip. When you go back to BasqueMTB try their Backcountry Pyrenees, it is also amazing.

What an incredible place, the trails just seems to be never ending and the villages are stunning. You are doing some job showcasing the area and you have made me want to get out there. Good riding, great vid and you probably made the right call not going for "one more trail", when u r tired on blind trails things can easily go wrong. Can't wait for episode 3!!!

Cheers Alan. You are spot on. They were definitely not the trails to be hitting when you are not riding at your best. Far too high-consequence IMO! Thanks for commenting bud. I'll be starting the next edit this week 😁

Ace vid again! Lost count of the times you said "big drop to the left" 😆. Very well ridden though I have to say. Must've been mentally exhausting too. Do you know how these trails came about? Were they originally shepherd tracks or something? The lower down trails look very ancient.
@streetpigeonmtb2 жыл бұрын
Hey Wayne! Thanks so much. I have to admit, I was so broken by the end of each day! As far as I know most of the trails are old walking/shepherding routes. I think that's what makes them so tricky to ride. They are not very sculpted like the normal trails you expect. Makes it exciting though! Glad you enjoyed the video mate 😁
@rupertbrock4172 жыл бұрын
I enjoyed this as I always do with your videos. How did you find riding completely different trail types? Does it make you reevaluate your skills?
@streetpigeonmtb2 жыл бұрын
Hey mate! Appreciate the kind comment. The different conditions were testing for sure, although I felt like I became comfortable relatively quickly. Interestingly I found the return to wet rooty trails more challenging! I rode like a total muppet when I got back home! 😆

Hey Wayne. This message just popped up again despite me answering it yesterday?! Must be a KZbin glitch so I apologise about taking a while to respond. As far as I know the trails are mostly old walking tracks. They are definitely a lot less manicured than your average trail although there are the odd sections that are built up so to speak. It's a really fascinating place to ride. Lots and lots of history everywhere you look 😁
