I got Taoqi from Changli's convene more than 15 times. It was infuriating, but since she loves me this much, I had to build her. She got a full DEF build, Moonlit echo set with a Geochelone main echo, and an R5 Discord blade to improve her concerto efficiency and ER. She can produce a shield so strong that my Changli can do her entire rotation without losing any life 🙂

Same build here. Discord only r4 tho. She cannot quite properly rotate with Jinhsi Verina. I think r5 is still not enough. I hope a new broadblade 5* in the future will have a sig weapon that works on her better. So a redhorn to noelle situation. Fingers crossed

I think the issue is because most of the gameplay mode content are time rush which is best invest more to offense instead of defense. what they need to add are gameplay mode content the requires you to survive. A depth of illusive realm like mode without buffs and can use teams would be great. A coop depth of illusive realm would be great too, where theres need to have a healer and an all around support like jianxin.

That's actually good, the mechanic would be kind of similar to Arknights Contingency Contracts but a focus more on survival with unlimited spawn of mobs and oberlords in between, buffs and debuffs and trying to survive within 5-10 mins depending on the difficulty, plus time bonuses given after overlord kills with 2 minutes alloted time for a new overlord to spawn

as of writing this i haven't finished the video, if they really wanted to make the tower more defense based they can just put one of the difficulty 6 tactical hologram bosses and change the 3 star requirement to : 1. Clear the stage 2. Clear the stage with not more than 1 downed team member 3. Clear the stage with no downed team member this will finally give me a reason to get verina's second passive, and if they want to they can just not put a timer, although i would prefer they make a new end game mode in which defensive options are needed.

​​@@spades4369Man, I would love to see a harder ToA without a timer, but just like holograms, the game could show how long it took you just to flex how maxed your characters are. Everyone happy with this change (or maybe not since many players can't clear ToA even with level 90 characters, but that's skill issue honestly)

Something I found to be really helpful was using Shorekeeper for practice. When you have 40k HP it's impossible to get one shot allowing you to learn the boss's mechanics without having to reset over and over again. When you have finally learnt the attack patterns kill the boss move to phase 2 and repeat. This can probably also work with baizhi for those who don't have Shorekeeper. I did not do this, for you see while I was rushing towards inferno 6 I was using Jinhsi, without realising I was on inferno 6 I had cheesed the boss skipping phases and flying over the challenge. Oops. It wasn't until I was in coop and wanted to help others clear it that I learnt the attack patterns with the aforementioned method.

I really tried to make use of Taoqi, but she's the one character I've tried so far in this game that I just don't enjoy using. Her forte takes forever unless you manage to tank hits at the appropriate time with her, and even then, she needs to get off a full 3-hit combo landing all three hits without doing any movement or dodges between attacks after she triggers her parry in order to actually build her shield. She just feels super inconsistent and I don't like using her. I found her to be almost useless against the more mobile bosses. I guess with enough skill you could still make her work there, but that defeats the purpose of a defensive unit helping with skill issue imo. Jianxin felt great though. While Jianxin's forte can also take a while to use, it is much more controlled, and it does damage while powering up.

Just slap 220~250% er on tao Q, intro into her, 3 hit -> E-> Liber-> Echo yeah sometime the enemy run away but honestly, she's not that bad, especially cuz this game have limited character content like ToA

You're not supposed to parry if you're not main dpsing her. Intro skill makes her do the 3 attacks for forte automatically

Yuanwu, Taoqi, and Jinhsi team. Creates the fastest stack generation for Jinhsi, super easy, safe, and comfortable to play. Yuanwu on rejuvenating set with originite type IV gauntlets for the attack buff, Taoqi on moonlit with discord for energy and additional attack buff and res skill buff and Jinhsi as your hypercarry. Consistently max stacks on every rotation except the first rotation. Yuanwu is great for parrying as well. Constantly getting beefy shields even if not built fully, while massively buffing Jinhsi for crazy damage. It’s great and frees up characters like Yinlin for a Shorekeeper, Yinlin, Xiangli Yao team, or a zhezhi, changli, encore/chixia(or another liberation focused dps) team. Super cheap to build the team and get massive, consistent, dps, while the playstyle doesn’t require much in the way of mechanics.

Contrary to many players think, Jianxin has a really good damage despite not being a main DPS character. Her dupes only makes her even better at grouping, speeding her rotations and increasing her damage. The Inferno Rider, while I hate his patterns and the meteors, shields are a perfect solution for practically every player who just wants to unga bunga the boss xD

Baizhi is the only 4* I built cause there's no available healer aside from Verina... Also Jianxin for being flexible in any roles despite mid-performance... can shield/heal and disrupt enemy attacks with her liberation. But yeah, I wonder if calcharo is still at the bottom alongside lingyang 🙃

Lumi pretty much invalidates Taoqi. Smoother gameplay, more dmg, better rotation, concerto gen, better sequences. 38% skill deepen. Both hot depends whether you like milk jugs or cake

@@mredizon00 I was looking at the packs they have and not much resource wise, there was a guy since day two that farms the WHOLE map has like 5 (999) stacks of howlers and the yellow star thing. The only thing I spend money on is bp and monthly pass. But the main thing that gets me is the talents and echo. I'm in desperate need of those two things

Hey Void, huge fan of Taoqi and her huge...shielding capabilities, but Good Lord, no having Discord is beyond annoying, it's by far the most weapon dependent unit imo. However Yuanwu has it easy, Originite, Healing Set, A ton of defense and you are good to go, the C4 makes wonders with the shield

Well Taoqi was in my 30/30 ToA clear this cycle. Masterful clear on Hazard Tower Floor 2 with Jinhsi, her and Verina. If we had a broadblade that gave her a tiny bit more concerto than R5 Discord, she would do a perfect quickswap. I still managed the clear this time, but I hope we will get such broadblade in the future..

I mean if hologram is being set as the benchmark for building shielders, it's lame af, why bother to build characters for a game mode that doesn't even gives you 1 full pull? Just build dps and get good and focus on toA than hologram which gets easier the more time you spend with the bosses

My Taoqi level 70 soloed Dreamless lvl 80. She took her sweet time, but wow, has she sustain! I was raising her relationship points, along with Danjin and Sanhua (both level 70), who were immediately erased by the Dreamless, leaving just Taoqi with her 4* broadblade (the one you find over the Inferno Rider).

Taoqi is definitely my favorite 4stars player dislike her slow speed and def scale which means more farming but that just solidifies her tank role plus def scaling higher than ATK means her ult nuke will be equally huge as her shields

I would use taoqi or jianxin more if they have faster concerto regen, they are just way too slow for my playstyle, taoqi even with r5 discord is slower than yuanwu without marcato
