Filipinos are one of the best singers in Asia and I may say the world because most of us have Spanish blood. The Spaniards sings with so much emotion. When I was a child I remember how my Mother loves the Trio Los Panchos ' s Historia De Un Amor and as a chilld that's when I learned to idolized them specially the sound of the guitar. Adios Mariquita Linda is also one of their best .

Part of the extra-curricular activities in school here in the philippines is the literary and musical competitions.. every year.. from elementary, to secondary up to college(university). Musical includes pop and classical (kundiman) category.. And every grade(elementary), year( high school) or department(college,university) must send their representative to compete.. And then the winner will compete again against other schools, And the winner from there will compete to other municipalities, to other divisions, up to regional, and lastly to national level.. Imagine that..
