i always forget "jesus in la" and "must have been the wind" are on this album because when i first started listening to him both of the songs were already out so i just clumped them together in the narrated for you bubble of his songs. it also feels like they've been around forever.

Alamo is my favorite because it makes me feel empowered and like I shouldn’t be afraid to stand up for what I believe in. Especially with everything going on in America right now, we need to all fight for justice and for whats right. I’m not black and I will NEVER understand what they have to go through on a daily basis. But i do know that how they are treated is wrong. And that we need to get rid of the systematic racism and oppression that we have in this country. As a white person in America i have to use my voice and use my privilege to help fight this injustice. And I will stand with and next to the black community to help them fight to fix those problems. Like Alec said, I’m not gonna give in. And if I have to fight, then I’m willing to give my life. I honestly would rather die then lay on my back and watch my fellow Americans and human beings be treated like this. I have no white flag to throw because we cannot lose this fight. And we won’t. We need to stand together and help uplift those who are being oppressed.

These Two Windows has a different place in my heart versus Narrated for You, but both parts are equally important. I'll love any music Alec puts out, and I've found some new favorites with the new album, but I also still listen and love all of the other songs

Kathi's music Ok actually I think I know. Form what I can tell, he responded to a post that said “all whites are an abomination” saying that it was racist. Which it was. Then twitter accused him of believing in reverse racism and tried to cancel him. Imo he did nothing wrong, unless I’m missing something.

Softee the thing is reverse racism isn’t a thing. racism is j the hatred of other people based on their race/skin color. anybody can be racist- the statement that he replied to was inherently racist however in the climate of twitter rn it wasn’t a good move to call a statement against white ppl racist as racism against black people is so aggressively more of a problem. inflammatory statements against white people are going to be made bc hundreds of years of oppression from white people mainly is exploding. he needed to realize that his offense against that statement isn’t rly a big thing compared to the hell it is to live as a black person

Alec has said in an interview that before he wanted to be a singer, he also wanted to be a rapper, but he knew he was better suited for singing, so he stuck to it but still adds parts in his songs that are rap-like.
