I've been using Galarian Weezing against Gliscor. I hate that thing. Neutralizing Gas turns his self poison from the ultimate healing ability, to suicide. Even if I lose, as long as made Gliscor feel pain, then I'm happy.

Imo pecharunt's biggest problem is slowking-G, a mon that isn't scared of it and does nearly everything better, the only things pech has over it are the zama matchup and the role compression of spin blocking+ pivot

An old set I used to run a lot on Araquanid in gen 7 was Red Card, because if I was sent in against a special attacker, I knew I could live any hit. Instead of instantly webbing, I'd use Liquidation, which not a single Magic Bouncer wants to come in on (except Mega-Sableye, but if it leads it can't burn me anyway). Usually I'd be able to get a free kill on something random in the back of the team, or I'd swap if it was like, a physical electric type like Zeraora. If nothing really scares me, I could also just get web up for free while disrupting the enemy's gameplan by swapping their lead out. I wasn't too high in the ladder, because I'm more of a doubles player, but I got a lot of really good laughs out of it. I remember once Red Card pulled out the opponent's Mega-Alakazam and I oneshot it, and they just instantly forfeited lol

Ye that was why i was suprised to hear surf is used. But then again, most of the newcomers are physicaldeffensive, faster and attack physical. Getting rid of araquanid is is easy zeraora was the metashaping threat, every mega that was viable in UU could threaten lil spidy. Since all of them are gone and the newscomers dont really hit as hard as mega with attackboosting ability. He is now in a better spot but most of the new threats still are deffensive on physicalside. So i believe thats why surf over araquanid. It was also back then good support for swampert in rainteams. Had also scald. Ive seen that time more scald then liquidation simply because of the burn. Burn was crucial to the old meta because of mentioned boosting abilities. Tried redcards often but felt its useless, why play Card over berries or U turn which he had access to aswell. Thats maybe why red card was so rare to see simply because of pivots

It's still not very reliable since the switch in is totally random, but if you're just playing for fun it can get some cheap kills and laughs.

I was hoping to hear about Pecharaunt here but to find out it’s actually losing quite a bit is sad to me lol I think it’s quite good and has a lot of good matchups into stuff like Ogerpon and Valiant also I feel like it can generate quite a bit of value just clicking Malignant Chain and spreading status / confusion it’s also got a nice and unique speed tier (302) where you outspeed stuff like Tusk, Samurott and Ghold and you can threaten them by clicking Shadow Ball or Hex / Chain And if you’re on a balloon you can function as a pretty good spin blocker against tusk while being able to really hurt it with Malignant Chain. 50% chance to toxic is nothing to sneeze at, even resists don’t like risking that It’s natural bulk is also solid, it feels like it lives even special hits quite well and can recover the damage off I hope he does better in the future cause I think he’s a really cool and interesting mon into the meta

Actually, the mayority of players wanted kyurem and gliscor banned. Both tests had over 50% of people voting ban but it didnt get enough votes for that to happen. Unfort since both are broken imo.

One other small benefit I can see to G-Weezing is that Neutralizing Gas negates Gliscor's Poison Heal so it actually feels that Toxic damage instead _but_ G-Weezing is threatened by EQ. In one of the provided clips, though, it very nearly finished off a Gliscor on switch in between taking an attack and the follow-up toxic damage so it stopped being a safe switch in.

You'd have to look at the games to see if Lokix ended up being dead weight or if the opposing team also had a lokix
